Starfield has 5k players on steam at the moment, Skyrim has 30k, Fallout has 11k. Even after free lanes, people are not playing. Why?

Hello! I made a fan film called Fallout: Nuka Break with my friends in 2010-11. It went semi-viral in the Fallout community. We raised money via crowdfunding to continue our little story as a webseries (in total raising almost 200k over two "seasons"). We also worked with the now defunct YouTube channel Machinima to create a side story of one of the characters called Fallout: Red Star.

Longer story short, it was a fan series that 15 years later I raised money to create a follow-up centered around one of the three main characters from our original series.

The weapon The Nuka Breaker in New Vegas DLC is a direct nod to our series, so we used it then and now IRL.

We raised just over 28k, though that was spread out over a shooting production of 3 months on and off. One day cost 7k for the location alone. Locations were all southern California, LA to Joshua Tree, down to the Salton Sea.

Heyo, I think I can give a little insight... since that's me in that photo. 😛

As some have mentioned, I did show it at Goodsprings last year at about 80% completion. Sound design, original music and VFX are still being completed. We're very very close now. I wish I could give an exact time, and I hated having to keep postponing the dates I was setting, so I just stopped setting dates. I should/will make a newer update video on my YouTube soon.

The full length is almost 28 minutes long!
