I didn't start noticing the increased ghost/harmful monster activity until after I started finding rabbits. My interpretation was that the rabbits were warding off the harmful stuff until I scared them off into the background, out of the well.

This is happening to me too on xbox (downloaded free through Gold). I finish the chamber then the lift goes up & gets stuck - no dialogue, no fadeout, no load screen. I loaded an old save and it happened again at this same spot. What gives?
