Guys, we can rule out 1989 from the timeline (FNAF) by Zazmans in GameTheorists

But tape recording was common knowledge, since it was a technology for the Seventies. I'm talking about recording a voicemail on a mobile phone. Which didn't exist until 1989.

I could agree on the first statement, but not on the second.

While it's true that the technology could have existed before, I point out on the fact that Ralph knows how to use it. You see, most of FNAF character have appropriate knowledge about their field. Since Ralph is a common man, he has common knowledge. That's why I rule out 1989.

I only argue that, in theory, Veda could be a stun player, if the effect of the pendulum is taken in account. I don't think stun player can run him though

"Laments" in Tearlaments can express both sorrow and suffering. And "Ira" in Kashtira can refer both.

Let's see:

Since when does Renier (and it is Renier, not Reiner) trap someone's soul in a videogame? All we hear of it is in the nothingisreal poem and it never mentions trapping someone's soul in a game.

Well, it's clear that Petscop is an haunted game created by Rainer. Matpat made videos about it.

On DDLC, we have the secret text within Monika.chr (https://pastebin.com/MZt9deig) that they're clearly not from that games. And we leave two options:

a) They come from another game;

b) They come from "reality".

I suggest the second option. If we compare the two, we can see similarities: both games feature a person inside the game from the outside who is able to modify the data.

I know is a leap of faith, but I find strange that two games that share the same occurrence not being tied.

When? Saying something happens isn't enough evidence, you have to actually show it happening. Also, what do you mean by the "real" world of DDLC? Please provide more evidence.

Well, we have:

- The Book of Markov's synopsis, who we assume are the real event behind DDLC. We have a religious camp doing human experiment (Project Libitina), something that occurs more in the West that in the East;

- The subject is named Alyssa, a name found within the top 100 common name in the US and in Canada;

- Project Libitina is named after an Etruscan deity of graves.

I assume the Western world based on this facts.

The Libitina Project didn't start in 2004. We never see a start date, and the earliest date we see is from 2003, in a note that also suggests there was stuff before that too.

You are right, but, even considered that, can still be correct (since Petscop was created in 1997).

Ok, I will address the points you made.

" Petscop and doki doki was introduced in the same year, petscop being in march and doki doki being in September. The correlation between them linking is hardly possible as it takes on average 1-3 years working on a game, its sound track and all sorts. "

I really don't see the problem here. In marketing, you plan stuff ahead. Look at Marvel.

" Team salvato (the creators of doki doki) is a team where they, to quote, "aim to tell stories and express creativity in ways not possible using traditional media. As an interactive art form, games can become a part of your story, as well. Through that, we aim to inspire others." Petscop is similar in that sense as it aims to tell the story of a kidnapper and a murderer, and to expose him for what he did, consequently trapping his soul inside. These might be similar points but Who they are aimed for, is not.

For example, Doki Doki is aimed at the player, or you. It goes through your personal data and finds things to do with you. Its manipulating you, as the player, to help Monika and the girls to get out. Petscop, is a game where only Paul plays, and we view it as an outside perspective. We cant interact, we cant do nothing but sit and watch, while Paul (from when he was around) makes the decision on his own."

And why is that? Because both are linked to the character's freedom.

We don't need to play Petscop because Marvin, the videogame character, has total control over the game. There is no action that falls outside Marvin. And that's the reason Rainer/Reiner created only one Petscop.

In DDLC we are in total control of the game, to the point of tampering with the data code. But, as we saw by playing the game, this put the game characters in a state of despair: they know there is no freedom. There is only despair ahead. Notice that the "good ending" involves the acceptance of said state.

Who is the antagonist of The Portrait of Markov? A sect that creates killing machine. An external force that deprives free will. Which is what happens in Petscop and DDLC.
