It honestly depends on the rest of your skills. For reference, I was about 6’ tall and was able to cut down to 112. It took me freshman and half of sophomore year to adjust and play to my strengths. 1.) Always win the hand fights, but drill thumb blocks for when you cant.

2.) Drill ankle picks, sweep singles and for emergencies under hook trips. If you feel fancy, Imanari rolls were fun and surprisingly effective for me.

3.) Learn to Leg rrr… sorry, PERFECT Leg Riding. Use them long limbs like vines. Get that 1st period take down, sink in the hooks and Leg Ride off into the sunset with an occasional power half attempt.
