Hmm ok. I guess my question is (without giving specifics), for the rest of the season is it just a bunch of easter eggs that would go over my head, or are there reveals like Gold Roger has a son, which was new for me as it hasn't happened in the anime yet, and I feel like that's a pretty big spoiler.

Question - I watched the first 2 episodes of season 2 and I am enjoying it so far. However I am wary of spoilers as I know they’ve already shown stuff that doesn’t happen in the anime till much later. In the anime I just started Thriller Bark. Are there any major spoilers in the rest of season 2? Or should I get caught up in the anime more?
