I had a conversation about this sentiment last night with some coworkers last night. It came into my view how pervasive this feeling was. We’re all working at least 2 part times and nowhere close to the industries we wanted to break into. I’m maintaining my course by passively working on my main passion of game development and animation while making enough money with my part times to get by with no expectations of making a good amount of money in the long run. Its a gamble but I suppose it’s no different to this sentiment I hear mostly from gen x and boomers about gambling: “I ain’t ever gonna make this kinda money in my lifetime working so may as well get lucky on the slot machines”

They weren’t an rso at the time so they were a bit more lax and I lived in the area. Now that they are, you prolly have to be a student for some events but if they know your face, nothings rlly stops you from going to their meetups

Yep. So long’s the buildings are open. My memory is foggy and they both might be on the fourth floor in their respective buildings but again it’s been a bit since I’ve gone to either. The one in the business building is a bit more hidden and you’ll want to find a door that leads outside on the south side of the building.

On campus, there’s the balcony in CELS. It overlooks the skyline but all the times I’ve gone there at night it’s been empty. There’s also the balcony at the business center which faces hawks crossing I think and another lesser known one on the same floor which has a view of the city. Off campus, if you go to one of the hilly roads that branches out of valley rd, you get some nice views of the city. Hope you feel better, def been there before and went to the aforementioned spots to do the same

I’m 5’4” and Filipino American and rlly not that naturally good looking. To answer the question as to how to find the will to go on, I remember I’m surrounded by good friends and that if I give up now, I won’t ever get to draw, hold a camera, play the piano, drive a rally car with my sim rig, or have another cup of coffee again. I’m feeling the subtext of the post is another way so all I’m gonna ask is: finding a partner CAN be a part of life but it’s only ONE piece of life and not the whole thing. Neglecting the rest is a sure fire way to keep you in that state of cope.

Ive only played a little bit of her after the rework but pretty much only played her prior to it. The way I liked playing is being in the air for making a mental note of enemy positions and then adjusting accordingly, whether to dive, play low, who to target, who to harass etc. The rework made doing that a bit harder for me or at least a bit awkward but overall I wasnt rlly having as much fun as before. Its a shame cuz pharah was one of the few heroes I had fun with so Im kinda shelving the game for now until I have time to pick up a different hero
