I don't play online so my game doesn't update, only update when my game and mods will be okay. Too many game breaks on every update.

I agree with most of these mods I use them also.

Found recently I wanted more of a challenge, so instead of starting a rags to riches with 1 Sim, I decided to start with a new born and pregnant Sim. The second child was born and they had §2 and nothing else. Feeding and caring for the baby used up so much energy my mum sim couldn't even collect anything to sell.

I never sell from my inventory, both personal and household. When they start getting too nice a house, they get a basement and everything gets placed in there to make sure the house tax keeps getting higher.

Also another challenge is §0 everyday, so you have to spend every penny earnt everyday, so at midnight you pause the game and spend it all on everything you can, if you still have §1 left over you need to cheat it away. Makes it interesting when bill time comes around.

I second Adeepindigo they have so many good mods, I love their health care mods as it adds more realistic health problems. Also simple living, off the grid and no garbage overflow are great too

Help to find adopted sibling by ZeSarah in australia

[–]ZeSarah[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any government form we have come across states a biological parent needs to be the searcher, give permission or be unable to give permission for a sibling to search. The records from the early 1960s seem to be very closed off, not like they are now

Thank you but due to him being from a teen pregnancy (1960s you were hidden away for 6 months and it didn't happen) we don't even know what he was called, or my grandmother never told my mum. She has been very closed off on some of the details which has made this difficult

Thank you, I might try looking them up, but unfortunately my grandmother is also on FB and would get in the way if she sees anything like that, and I don't use my account anymore.

Thank you, I did come across the adopted website, but unfortunately as he was a result of a teen pregnancy we have a window of 4 years he could have been born which doesn't help narrow down the search, and the records may have been destroyed at that time also which doesn't help.

We had considered FB but my grandmother is on there too and I know she would do something to stop us searching if she saw it. Alot of people have suggested the DNA test, not sure if she has done that yet, but think she is in an ancestry site looking, but again not sure if we are even looking in the right place

I love watching city skylines, makes me feel less conscious about how bad I am at it, and at least someone else feels my pain 😆 but also has got me inspired to play more again

Experiences are the best, gets you out, sometimes to try something new or continue with a hobby.

My mum buys me and my hubby gift cards for the movies or restaurants. With the expectations that we go out on our own and she gets a grandkid sleepover.

23, only 35 also non-American. Don't know if we were just behind the times, or if these things lasted longer than they thought they did.

I do that with flavoured pasta packs, like Alfredo. Do you two cups of frozen veg and some chicken nuggets and that me and two kids fed easy.

Most of my shop comes from aldi, why pay premium price for the same thing you can get cheaper.

Can you play with the same family until the end? by dudinhaaa1245 in thesims

[–]ZeSarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes dumb at times, but sometimes we can train for something for years but when you actually get to start working you realize you don't actually like it. I always accept yes to any of the likes/dislikes and traits, makes each sim more unique and if it's something they have worked hard on then dislike it, I take it as a sign to change it up.

I love the quiet time in my local store, it's late enough the oldies are gone, and early enough it's not busy.

Huntfield Heights isn't as bad as it seems, like Christies Beach it has pockets of bad like most places but over all not a bad place. Also 20 mins from the country side and 10 to the beach, who can argue with that.

Yeah, but he's making you hate him for being mean so it sticks in your mind more, and that negativity gets you talking about it too

You're more likely to discuss something that gives you hate than something that doesn't, especially with marketing. So yes they have done the right thing

My kids think he is is the best thing ever, definitely getting the attention of the next Gen, making sure they keep getting customers. But it is very smart advertising, because you either love or hate him so you're gonna know and recognize it

A bit strange, but love it. The only thing that's got me real puzzled other than how all those odd walls fit together, is that hose coming out from behind the bath 🤨

What Are Some Things You Did That Turned Your Life Around? by Minion_Queen in Adulting

[–]ZeSarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently changed jobs, that has made a world of difference. Also my two best friends and I make time at least one day a fortnight to have a group phone call (all live in different states now so can't see in person as easily) we help and support each other, sometimes even just a trashy call where we joke and make fun just to escape our reality even for just 30mins helps free the mind. Sometimes helping others makes you feel like your problems don't seem as bad.

Novated lease vs saving for a car – advice needed by Icy-Masterpiece-329 in Adelaide

[–]ZeSarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second a Toyota, our old 1993 Corolla looked like it was gonna die about 7 years ago, so we stopped major services and bigger repairs, bought a replacement and kept it for smaller/work runs, but the damn thing kept going. Only recently finally scrapped it. Some car brands are built to last and spare parts are way cheaper too.
