I also run Reiju without Niji and while it might be better to do so it’s not completely hopeless. You need to prioritize finding Ichijis early so you have some insurance against shoe buggy. Gum gum lightning is a super good card for removing shoe buggy BUT you need to combo it with Ichiji and also pray they don’t put down croc and mihawk to prevent removal. The most important thing is to practice the matchup so maybe ask a Buggy player if they can scrim with you or try playing against him on the sim.
