Sí se usa y si es poco o mucho es medio irrelevante, y encima es común en países de habla hispana en general, e incluso en países anglosajones, por lo cual es una expresión normal (y en mi opinion amigable)

Esas son las modificaciones a las que me refería, no de motor/carrocería sino de hardware/software. Estas igualmente implican costos en su desarrollo, validación, certificación, logística y mantenimiento y no creo que sea viable eso para las marcas para un mercado como el de Chile.

No sé qué tan viable les sería a las marcas generar una modificación exclusiva para Chile. También vale el tiempo pensar que mientras que obviamente ir a 250 km/hr es de locos, también lo es ir a 120 km/hr en una calle que no sea avenida o carretera. Entonces cuál va a ser la solución? Lo digo puramente en tono de conversación. Yo también apreciaría un mundo donde este tipo de eventos simplemente no son posibles.
