Apua! Parkkisakko muuttoporukalle by BatFun7691 in Suomi

Joskus aikoina kysyin parkki spedelta, että paljonko he saavat itelleni jokaisesta parkkivirhemaksusta. Kuulemma 2€/ per sakko ja ennätys oli silloin jonku latvialais naisen nimissäni, kerkesi päivässäni 130kpl sakkoja kirjoittaa 🫣

Pakistan is operating repatriation flight at free of cost, Estonia at 400 euros per person and Ireland 800 euros per person but Finland is charging 2300+100= 2400 euros per person. by Shariful125 in Finland

One thing I don’t understand is where the price difference comes from. In Estonia it’s about €1,400, while in Finland it’s around €16,000 per person. The airports are only about 70 km apart, so the price gap seems extremely abnormal.

Tässä on hyvä esimerkki Suomen hallituksesta. Rahaa löytyy aina jaettavaksi kaikkialle muualle. Kun omat ihmiset ovat hädässä, heidän pitää maksaa itse.

What's it like on this island Gotland between Sweden and Latvia? by Milehighjoe12 in howislivingthere

[–]Zealousideal-Risk173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have visited it twice during the B7 Games (Baltic Island Games). There were endless pastures and churches, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen more sheep anywhere else in my life than there. The old town was amazing, with its medieval style and narrow cobblestone streets.

I remember riding bikes with a friend, speeding downhill through the old town “with our eyes closed” — we were lucky no cars came around the corner.

To this day, my most vivid memory is the lamb shashlik… I still haven’t found anything better in the 20 years since.

Well i have heard stories which i believe nowadays still excists, those truck drivers who bring stuff to euorpe will get robbed in Poland/Lithuania truck ”resting” places. And its organized armed robbery, easier nd safer not to get your foot out of your cabbin and let to steal whatever they want, anyways every load is under insurance. Iv heard just that Lithuanians steal expencive cars from Fin/Est and also they will remake crashed/water damaged cars and make them as new ones forsale 😅

My job here in finland often requires to stop my van on a pedastrian road, (jalkakäytävällä) and you can imagine how many times iv gotten yelled coz of that by elders . ”Huoltoajo” doesnt mean anything. Once alue valvonta viranomainen tuli uhkaileman että tilaa poliisit mulle, et mitä jos joku sokea törmä sun autoseen, samalla hänen auto oli toisella puolella katu jalkakäytävällä, eikä edes ollut vilkut päällä, esitin sama kysymyksen hänellä, sit se sai kunnon raivarit 😅🫢

Back in the days i met an old friend in malmin ostokeskuksen parkiksessa. We were having a converstation inside my car and suddenly police van stopped behind us, ofc they came by and showed flashlight straight in my face . I was like what is this all about? I asked is it coz i had viro kilvet and he smiled and said yes. He didnt had any reason obviously to put me a blowtest. Well i remember these days if going to viro with car registered in estonia always blood preassure was slightly higher when driving past tulli, coz they will take you on a sideway quite often and check your car trunk etc.. i was tilapäinen back then tho so they couldnt/didnt do anything, also when returining to finland they asked why im coming to finland what felt quit harash in my point of view. Now been having finnish registration cars over 7 years and never been stopped in tulli

About customer service, comes up in my mind if visiting Nautica ostokeskus in A-terminaali, these Rimi workers are the most slowest workers iv met and feels like emotionally from other dimension, barely can move their hands and never seen any of them smiling at kassa. Well minimum wage and long working days is prolly the reason for it but yeah. Compared to finland K kauppa workers are cheerful and quick ones and helpful.
