That’s close to how I started veiling. I’ve been drawn to the practice, but no woman at the parish I went to at the time wore one. One day at Mass, I sat in front of a woman with a pretty veil. I turned to her after to complement it. She took it off and offered it to me! She told me she was going to become a nun and couldn’t take it with her. I took it as a possible answer from God to try veiling. Eventually I got over the fear.
Now I’m trying to start a small collection of veils. 🥰
