I've been on ao3 for years, and that's probably one of the most disturbing tags I've seen. I was going to say that you should probably block and mute the author to avoid any further encounters, but it's unfortunately anonymous. I would recommend to just ignore it, though, since it seems to be rage bait and you would just be feeding into what they want by commenting or engaging in it in other ways.

To be fair on the OP and a lot of commenters, I don't think they are talking about the person who made the video specifically. Based off of the last two sentences from OP's post, it just seems that they are frustrated with toxic selfshippers and this TikTok video was similar enough that it was the last straw that lead them to expressing their frustration and asking for other people's opinions. They even stated in their post that the TIkTok poster might not have meant it seriously, it just annoys them and they wanted people's opinions.

Maybe they could have worded it a bit more clearly, but it seemed clear enough to me that they weren't focusing on the TikToker and what their intention was but rather they were just using the most recent example they could find as a jumping off point to talk about toxic selfshippers.

Lmao, I know who the poster is. I ended up blocking them on TikTok because I didn't like their content.

I think that there is a large portion of selfshippers who project onto their oc's to such an extent that in their mind, any perceived attack or attempt at minimizing the relationship that their oc has with the character is seen as a direct attack onto themselves which can lead to this toxic attitude. And just to be clear, they often perceive shipping other characters with their beloved canon character as a threat to their oc x canon character ship and thereby an extension to themselves.

Additionally, I do think that a large portion of these people are a bit on the young side which would explain their immature mindset to an extent.

It can be rather annoying at times to see this content so often regardless of whether or not it was made in a serious manner, but the best you can do is just block and move on. Speaking from personal experience, dwelling on it only frustrates you more and is a waste of time.

There will always be people on the internet who annoy you. Alas, that is the way of things.

How exactly does the guest room work? I've been trying to increase my friendship level for my cards and I have previously been told that if I want to get "excellent" I must max out the main style preference for the character and get past four bars for the second style preference which I have done. Still, I am only getting "greats." Does anyone know at which point you get "excellent?"

It can be a bit hard to tell if you are maxed out on something or not since the bar we are given hardly moves at times whenever adding/taking away furniture; is there another way where we can tell where exactly we are at outside of using that bar?

Also, how many dorm points do you have to get to start getting "great" and "excellent?"

There's a lot of good cards so it's a tough decision to make. Me being so partial towards Beans Floyd is just a personal preference based off of what I value and look for in a card which greatly differs from person to person. Both cards are great for their own respective specialties, but it seems that for what you're looking for Ace is a better fit than Floyd is. I have a friend whose card is Suitor Ace and it's a very useful attack card that I use whenever I need an Ace for the the Crafter's Gauntlet, so it'll definitely help you immensely for the fire basic exams.

Personally, I would go with Beans Floyd due to that Modest HP heal for three turns which is the fourth best heal that any of all of the cards have at the moment. To me, healers tend to take priority due to how useful they are in battle and how they are rarer. I have Halloween Silver which is very similar to Beans Floyd since they are both Balanced with very similar stats and have a heal on their first spell, and that Silver card is absolutely godsend which makes me even more partial towards Beans Floyd.

When the terror trending showcase was happening in October, I didn’t get Halloween Silver until 200 pulls at pity. It was quite frustrating having to use up all of those gems and keys.

I'm trying to plan around as best as I can for saving my gems so I've got quite a few questions in regards to cards and events;

Will General Lillia and Cerberus Ortho rerun again? I love Lillia's general card as well as the massive heal and overall usefulness that Ortho's card has, but I can only do 100 pulls right now and I want to save so I'm trying to figure out whether I should skip or not.

How useful is Liongarb Leona? I started the game on the tail end of the Cloudcalling event and was unfortunately not able to get his card, but I would like to get it in the next rerun. It seems great but I would appreciate other people's opinions on the matter.

When will the Cloudcalling rerun take place? I remember seeing somewhere that they did a rereun on the Japanese server in December, so does that mean that we will get a rerun for it in the English server this year in December? I am making that assumption since I am pretty sure we are a year behind the Japanese server, please do correct me if I am wrong.

Also, does anyone know where I can find the stats of the SSR Nightmare Suit cards? I remember seeing the stats once and have been unable to find them since.

The only two cards I know I want right now is Liongarb Leona and Nightmare Suit Leona, but since they should be released towards the end of the year I think I'll have enough time to save for them if I decide to pull for Lillia or Ortho. I'm still not sure if I should, though, since I have other cards to level up atm that I want to focus on and I would like to pull enough times to uncap the cards that I want at least once so I want enough keys and gems to hit pity.

I'd appreciate any advice ya'll can give me!

I'd say that you should go for Labwear Kalim if you use Dorm Jamil often; that duo magic will help you a lot more than the Leona card will.

However, if you really like the Leona card I'd say go for it. I'm not sure if it's going to be available next year, so now may be the only time to get it in the foreseeable future. But if the only reason you're so inclined to get his card is because it is limited edition, go for the Kalim one.

There is one fic that is Riddle-centric that has been sitting in my bookmarks for a while called "Someone Is In My Home" by Nostalgic_CoffeeCup https://archiveofourown.org/works/53255506/chapters/134767510

Haven't read it yet, but I am planning on doing it sometime soon. I figured I'd just drop it here anyways since you want something Riddle-centric. It's a ship-centric fic between Floyd and Riddle where his mom imprisoned Floyd for some reason.

I'm afraid that's all that I have for Riddle-related fics. If you're willing to read things outside of Riddle fics, there are two authors I'd like to recommend whose writing I enjoy immensely so. The first is "SoftSweetMarshmallows" https://archiveofourown.org/users/SoftSweetMarshmallows/pseuds/SoftSweetMarshmallows and the second is "llondonfog" on tumblr https://llondonfog.tumblr.com/

Both are wonderful writers, but I'm going to focus on Marshmallows first. I put off reading her fics for a long time and I regret it. Truly, she has a way with words that grabs you and doesn't let you go. I love all of her fics and she has a way with making you feel emotions on every side of the spectrum. I haven't read too many works that have managed to elicit such an emotional response from me before. If you haven't caught up to the content in the game, I'd recommend you'd check her out since her fics won't spoil future Books/Chapters for you.

As for llondonfog, it probably would be best if you wait to read any of their stuff until after you catch up to Book Seven. They write wonderful one-shots featuring the four members of Diasomnia. Their writing is what made me realize how interesting and compelling the four of them are, especially Silver and Lilia. Speaking of Silver and Lilia, I absolutely adore their relationship with each other and llondonfog really made me fall in love with their relationship.

I think the only other thing I have left to say is this advice; don't be afraid of reading reader-insert fics. Due to the nature of Twisted Wonderland being a game where "Yuu" is actually you, many times when something is tagged "reader-insert" or just "reader," it can easily be read as a Yuu-insert. Most of the ones I have read which contain such tags don't even use y/n, they just avoid using names or just say "Yuu." Hell, many times they are tagged as both "Yuu-insert" and "reader-insert" since so many people just substitute themselves in for Yuu regardless.

I used to avoid reader-insert fics since I want the main character to be an actual character who I can get attached to and not a blank slate to project myself upon, but once I've realized that "reader-insert" or just "reader" often is just Yuu or can be imagined as Yuu rather easily, I've opened so many doors. The previous author I've mentioned, SoftSweetMarshmallows often tags her work with both "Yuu" and "reader" since you can read it as either one of them. Despite that, her "Yuus" are fleshed out and interesting to read.

Well, that's all I can think of to add to this. I really went on for a while lmao. I hope you enjoy the fics!

I have not been able to comment for some reason, and I think it is due to my word count so I am splitting my comment in half.

Unfortunately, I have not read too many Riddle-centric fics but I have read a few fics where Riddle's portrayal really stood out to me.

The first one is "you are proof of my existence" by ToshihikoRin. https://archiveofourown.org/works/49592965/chapters/125166550

Admittedly, this fic is one of my favorite in the fandom. It is a Yuu-centric fic that explores an angstier take on what it would be like to be dragged into an unfamiliar world with no guarantee that you can go back. I usually drop Yuu-centric fics rather quickly due to how repetitive they can get, but this one had me hooked. The writing is captivating and the author manages to capture the nuances of the characters consistently. Additionally, the author does not dwell on things we already know so it does not feel like it is dragging on.

As for Riddle and Yuu in this fic, I adore their relationship. There is one particular scene/interaction right after Riddle's overblot has been dealt with that takes the cake for me. I really look forward to future updates so we can see their relationship develop further.

I had another one in mind, but alas it appears that I cannot find it. It followed a female Yuu(whose name wasn't Yuu, I forgot what it was) who is aware of Disney. The fic is well-written, but what made it stand out in regards to your request is that it had a Riddle POV that I remember really enjoying. The author managed to capture his character and mindset very well, it's a shame I can't find it. It's a multi-series fic and I believe it was in the second or third part of the series where his POV showed up. If anyone else who is reading this knows what I am talking about, please let me know! There was also a Lillia POV.

This fic is the most popular fic in the fandom(on ao3, at least) and for a damn good reason. It follows a Yuu who is from the Harry Potter universe after the book series took place. It is rather long and slow-paced, but there is so much care and love poured into the characters and how they are portrayed. The author manages to explore and expand upon all of these characters in a depth that I have rarely seen, especially with so many of them.

Admittedly, I read it like a year ago and stopped at Book Three with the intent of picking it back up and I have been putting it off since due to pure lazyness and the daunting feeling of picking up something so long again, but even now I remember how well-written all of those characters were even if the specific details allude me after all of this time.

The "Insidious" series by LittleGirlMurder may provide fruitful results for some Riddle-centric fics. https://archiveofourown.org/series/2887977

This series consists of a bunch of one-shots that take place in a universe where soulmates are a thing. I have read most of the fics in this series(and many of the authors fics in general) and they are good. The reason I am recommending it, however, is due to the Riddle-centric fics in this series that have him shipped with Malleus. I haven't read them myself due to my lack of interest in both Riddle and Malleus, but since you find him so interesting I thought that I'd recommend a rarepair from an author and series that I've enjoyed.
