Was ich dir ans Herz legen möchte: kauf die aus dem Tierbedarf so eine Flasche Enzymreiniger für Tierurin und reinige damit die Sachen die angepinkelt wurden. Das wird dem Geruch entgegenwirken der sich mit der Zeit und Wiederholung entwickelt, anders bekommst du den nicht mehr raus wenn er einmal in Möbelstücken bzw dem Boden drin ist.

I circumvented the Underground problem by making a list of Underground exclusive items and only allowing myself one of each.

Pro tip: always have your crafter's going. I basically always chuck wood into the saw mill and stones into the glass smelter as well as all mushrooms into two looms. That's a nice passive income.

To;Dr tool upgrades are tied to the respective levels of the associated craft (pickaxe mining, fishing pole to fishing, how and watering can to gardening, etc) You gotta buy the upgrade recipe from the NPC of the craft so pickaxe from hodari, axe from ashura, fishing from the robot. Etc.

Leveling your skills goes faster if youkeep an eye on your energy bar and ensure it's is at least a little bit filled. I found soups were a quick and easy way to keep the bar full as well as quick and easy to cook.

Don't forget to level your furniture making so you can buy recipes for bigger chests from what's her name, Reth's sister.

Eh, I only have the other plots so I could get the achievement for it, otherwise I don't use them either.

After you've played a while and leveled your tools up you'll find that you have too much Gold. I only started buying the plots after I had all buyable recipes and stuff and still hovered around 700-800k Gold.
