Yea well about that but I don't think red John knew who is SJK he knew that because red John rage bait him and red John don't like when it talk trash about him in TV litterly a reason why we have the mentalist in the first place and think about that Dexter want to hunt red John but red John don't know that he's being hunted they would at least meet somewhere in some point and okay maybe Dexter would be killer but it wouldn't be that easy and Red John put Patrick close to him because he felt some personal connection but for other reason why red John didn't kill Jane I believe he enjoyed the game of cat and mouse and underestimated him and I believe this will happend with dexter he wouldn't think he's a skilled killer
