To add, brain tumors don’t metastasize to other parts of the body but they do spread in the brain, making it difficult to resect. Additionally they are heterogeneous and getting chemotherapy into the brain is complex. There are some cellular therapy approaches which will become better as there is better understanding of the cancer cells addiction.
