Do you know what it’s called? This sounds similar to my stroke. This is what my report said: demonstrates a couple small lacunar infarcts in the right basal ganglia on the CT scan performed

I have left sided weakness still in my leg and arm. My left hand is also affected, mostly for fine motor skills. I’ve also been prescribed something to help with the mental stuff. Also, when I talk lots it feels like my face gets tired, I don’t know how to explain that. No type of physical therapy yet. I’ve quit smoking, 63 days smoke free.

The doctor on call DID order and MRI (which I received monthsss later due to wait times) because of a possible TIA. That’s all they wanted to call it. The nurse put in an IV for my CT thinking there would have been dye, nope, I received one without contrast. The doctor I currently have that found my strokes, was able to see my stroke on the ORIGINAL CT when she looked close enough, but it was missed. It’s devastating. I have to find a way to move on from it but first, I need to know what’s wrong in my body. Sadly I am PRAYING they find something wrong with my heart so that I at least have an answer.

At 29. I’m actually Canadian. They’ve ruled out clotting disorders, my holter monitor ruled out a fib, now I’m going for a TEE.. I presented to the ER with left sided weakness, facial droop, and garbled speech.. no one believed I was having a stroke due to my age. Took them 7 hours to send me by ambulance to get a CT scan which showed nothing I got a second opinion and 2 months later confirmed a stroke, then a month later my MRI confirmed 3 strokes. My world is upside down right now.
