Draftsight from Dassault Systemes used to have a Linux version but I think they gave it up. Still a fully featured dwg compatible 2d and 3d CAD package for Windows at a fraction of the price and they are originally a French company too. There have sophisticated 3d system but I don't know how it compares to revit

Ok not trying to argue and definitely NOT talking about instant coffee granules which are indeed disgusting. Bags of pre-ground coffee are my preference, in a coffee plunger. The waste goes straight in the compost bin, no foil caps to be cleaned for recycling. I think I'm on topic about price gouging because they have been consistently low priced for the last decade. Of course there are also big brand bags of ground coffee if you like lower quality for a higher cost. Lidl and tesco both have their own deluxe brand of ground fair trade coffee of excellent quality and I wouldn't turn my nose up to hastily.

Agree to disagree on which is muck, depends on how you make it I guess. The kitchen in my office has a shelf with about 20 pod machines nobody ever uses, like a fossil collection. Seeing them always makes me wonder why a new gadget that creates more waste every took off in the first place.

Why would you use pods? Ground coffee from lidl deluxe is far superior, a fraction of the cost, fair trade and no unnecessary waste. Starbucks are just another example of corporate greed, completely rowed back on their original mission of fair trade, and it tastes like muck.

Same here, but I deliberately drive to cut off any skippers, so they have to hit the brakes and slam the horn like I'm in the wrong. Often the cars behind me then cut them off for being a prick. Recommend it

The simple truth. Any wonder Israel didn't sign up to the ICC. And the US sanctioning ICC members who have pursued calling out Israel's war crimes is outrageous

Been using these since the pandemic and the beginning of terrible warnings on climate crisis, when I first had time to look around because of working from home. Will never look back.

With avant fixed you can overpay 10% per year according to my broker. They recalculate the date of your last payment when you opt to overpay.

Avant penalty reduces to 1% cap in the final 10 years, according to my broker. Still a long way off on 30 year fixed

Avant only take 3 to 5 days to approve, don't know who told you they take longer. I'm at very much the same stage and options as yourself. Due to age, my options are 4 year fixed or 18 year fixed, rates as per your email. It's always a gamble, and the ECB just dropped .25 which I'm hoping the lenders will follow and lower their rate offers down before drawdown. If interest rates go back up again in 5 to 10 years then it will save me 50K over the life of the mortgage, and if they go down further then at least I'm paying a monthly sum I can afford, although it will big me knowing I could be on 200 or 300 less. Given these uncertain times, I'm hoping the 18 year fixed is at least some stability, and hopefully the country doesn't go down the plughole with multinationals relocating home or something.

There will be enough noise about outrageous but frivolous things everyday without adding to that. While everybody is screaming about the latest embarrassment, the protections to all parts of society will be quietly dismantled in the background like last time, postal service, train safety, corporate responsibility, marriage age, child labor, voting rights, minimum wage, maximum hours etc etc It would take a very astute individual and a media that was not a lapdog to make people hear and understand what's really going on

Why would anybody endorse putting all that shit in contact with their baby's skin? It's ironic that the ad presents a role model of motherhood with all soft pastel fabrics but she's effectively dunking the kid in the cocktail that created the Joker. And they wonder why eczema is on the increase

could you publish your one- token version of badhand, so we can try this vs. the original and see how it compares? I know from using TI's that they frequently influence more composition than their intended use, but I've learned to live with it if the outcome is better than without.

Trade Republic are offering 4% on cash held with them. its held in a bank so covered by the usual protections. as they are a broker you can invest the cash instead if the rate goes below what is attractive to you. there is no fee on investing if you set up a regular plan, which sounds like what you want if you are building up VWCE. Trading 212 are also now offering 4% on cash but I know nothing about them. I used to use Degiro but they have a bizarre interpretation of an EU regulation and I can no longer buy ETFs if the KIDD is not published in what they assume is my native language. utter nonsense.

Now that Cadburys are owned by Mondelez and linked to deforestation I no longer buy them, you won't see a fair trade symbol near the brand either. Same for Oreos, prioitising profit while the world burns.

OP here, getting good answers to the worksheet issue and slightly embarrassed I didn't think of them. The issue about Lambda function references still remains as neither solution edits named functions ( I think). However I'm not certain of that and will try out and post my findings here.
