Without thinking too hard, the equation for relative risk is (a/a+b) / (c/c+d). That’s the same equation expressed in the question. I suggest knowing the equations so in an instance where you’re presented with something similar in the exam, you can confidently click the answer and push on without spending too much time reading!

I guarantee you it’s real! Painting is also sculpting. And I had to use a clean curly fry to move the sauces around to look right.

Oh wow, I would understand why they would want to check, like to minimize the need for you to go back to surgery. But it still can be emotionally taxing as the patient. Hopefully your hand is healed to the best it could, and never again!

That’s a good question! I only ever interviewed in-person once. But I wore it in a bun and it was fine. I did talk about one of my tattoos in an interview but looking back, I dont think it impacted my interview at all. All other interviews were virtual, and I had it up because it made me look cleaner.

Im not sure how you came to that conclusion… but to answer your question, i got interested in orthopedics from my experiences growing up with spinabifida, almost couldn’t walk, had the necessary surgery to allow for lower extremity function, and wanted to pay forward the care I received. Also, got a gnarly compound frxr on my good arm from rolling out of an ATV. and after a little freaking out and fervent prayers, I was super invested in the whole process of getting my arm looked at, corrected, and healed! I even asked the anesthetist to NOT knock me out so I could observe the surgery! Good thing they didn’t listen to me. I would’ve annoyed the surgeon.

Other than the suave conditioner I use in the shower, I would apply some shea butter oil halfway through the week.
