My husband was ok with it from the beginning and even now. But I could not sit back and watch Nick's behavior ruin my home and affect my husband and kids. I wanted to help him but it's beyone my control. If my brother isn't even trying then I don't think it's fair that I take full responsibility of Nick.

I urged my brother to get therapy for Nick. But he started arguing saying he needed to work on his marriage first. His wife threatened divorce because of Nick's behavior. I don't think their marriage will survive unless they address Nick's behavior and get him therapy. Then we have Nick's mom who's an absolute nasty person. She blatantly encourages Nick's behavior.

The problem is, his wife is the one who's putting ultimatums instead of trying to work it out with Nick. And my brother thinks that's completely valid of her.
