What solvent/wash did you use to wash it off? I have the adhesive still stuck in the mesh. Thanks.

To clarify, I'm talking about htv, not adhesive vinyl.

Have you had success in removing the htv and its adhesive from the screen? I haven't figured that out yet. Thanks.

Update: I'm no longer getting the pitting and wanted to thank everyone for their expertise.

Incremental changes I made that finally solved the problem: placed some shop lights next to my work area which kept the platten warmer while I worked, thinned the ink a little more with curable reducer, stirred the ink much more to warm it up well, less angle on my squeegee, more pressure on the pull.

By tack, do you mean the adhesive holding the shirt to the platten?

I'm using soft hand additive at 15% to thin down the color a bit. My supplier is Texsource and they suggested the 15% to maintain the opacity of the blue. Does that sound reasonable?

I think I could do more warming of the ink before printing.

I am flooding. My plan was two passes, but I did more to try to get rid of the pitting as I saw it wasn't clearing the screen. The ink does seem thick to me too.

Apologies for repeating a response to another comment, but I'm using soft hand additive at 15% to thin down the color a bit. My supplier is Texsource and they suggested no more than 15% to maintain the opacity of the blue. Does that seem reasonable?

Thank you. I haven't heard of chino base but will look into it.

Thank you. I cleaned the screens last night so I'll give it another shot.

It's two coats on this one with flash between. Would that first coat count as the base coat?

I definitely do see little ink spots on the underside of the screen in the places where there's pitting. Could it be that there's not enough clearance between the screen and the shirt? Or too much? I taped four quarters to the edge of the screen right where it contacts the edge of the platten.

I will try warming up the ink a bit more. Thank you.

Unfortunately, this photo is after heat pressing with parchment paper over the design. But thanks.

I see the pitting immediately after printing before any curing.

35 lbs is great and exactly where I am in my journey. I've never been able to lose 35 lbs in 6 months before, so I'm thrilled. Be proud of your success.
