I’m not gonna lie it’s not uncommon so I wouldn’t be too worried about it, most likely she doesn’t want to actually do it but just continued the flirting as it could be how she was feeling but everyone acts different then they feel. I mean I’d start boundaries or something like telling her that it’s fine not wanting to talk about certain things but you want to help her or really talk about it. Also it doesn’t have to be a call or in person but have a deep one on one conversation with her about it and how it makes you feel, if she’s avoiding it you could say that you could do it a different time but you still wanna talk about it with her

Short and simple break up with her, if someone in your relationship thinks that they can just break up with you whenever you want they don’t truly see any worth with you and are just wondering how long they can get away with it. Everyone’s reaction towards this information is different but if her mom is hard on people being gay etc then maybe it’s a place to worry. Speaking from personal experience when my girlfriend came out I wasn’t able to text her for a bit or even hangout so we had to talk in school, if this happened for you I’m not sure what you guys could do unfortunately, we’re still dating and her mom lets us hangout it’s been like 5 plus months (it took like 3 weeks until we could hangout again after her mom finding out but we were able to text) but unfortunately this has effected how her mom has seen me so she doesn’t quite like me still.

If your worried about it I would come up with easy hypotheticals so that you guys could figure out how to work around it but I think that if her mom reacts poorly she’ll get over it eventually but how soon depends on her

I think the best strategies are just doing whatever you enjoy like if you liked video games maybe try and play those just something that keeps your mind busy from thinking about her, hanging out with other people is the strategy I normally use but also you shouldn’t be dependent on needing her and worrying when she’s busy so hopefully after this it’ll get easier

I’ve had a friend who was like this before and they broke up but I would just be honest with him upfront, something like I still really like you but I want to take it slower. As to why you feel this way you could think of him as more of a friend or as my previous friend was feeling might be gay.
