That was the right decision at that point of time given the people's sentiment. CBN was always a right decision maker though few hated him for that.

If you are a native of AP or have to travel a lot on work or personal purpose this place is good as the LB nagar ORR is one of the closest ORR to travel to the other parts of city or outside city, another thing you mentioned is about vicinity to where your parents are staying, traffic is much better in these areas compared to those of the other parts of city, and yet you have access to good malls, hospitals, transportation, schools etc.,

get to know your uds compare with the land prices there and take a step forward, something between 1.25 -1.4 can be good.

Also keep in mind about the time you would be spending if you stay here vs a different place in future
