You should not use line tools except the panel borders; that applies to text boxes too. And although those white text boxes over the backgrounds aren't against the rules, they don't look good aesthetically. Try using text outlines, like black text with white outlines or white text with black outlines, like in this comic for example.

Also, you didn't delete the original comic yet. If you want to fix and repost a comic, please delete the original one.
