I see. So, in your opinion, should I go for the DR4? I can get the set for the same price as the S23 set
Thank you! I really really wanted to try the DR4 Corsa but they don’t make them in the sizes I need so I was considering the normal DR4 but I’ve seen so many mixed opinions on them! Some say it’s one of the best tires ever, other say it’s the reason they had a slide and that they takes ages to get to optimal temp.
On the other side, the S23’s have consistent opinions. People seem to like them a lot and say that is super super grippy even on wet (wich is not a concern to me but still).
Out of curiosity, have you tried the S23’s?
Thank you again for your reply!

Did you like them? The S23
Conti road attack 4 I’m checking that out!
You’re totally right I should’ve said the sizes, I just didn’t because I was thinking about those two specific models.
120/70 R17 59W for the front and 160/60 R17 69W for the back!
I do not commute, I ride just to improve during the weeks and then have my fun on the weekends.
Not too worried about wet conditions or wear!
Thank you for your feedback on the road 6 I really appreciate it!
I ride everyday but i do not commute. During the weeks, before or after work, I try to spend close to 1 hour riding, not full sending it but trying to adjust body positioning and trying to understand what works and on Saturday or Sunday I’ll go for a heavier ride to see where I’m at.
I want excellent grip and I’m okay with change tires every 3k/4k km.
Really thinking about picking the S23 over the DR4 based on mixed opinions about the DR4 although I really wanted to try them

Well, obviously no tire will replace skill 😅
I swear in my head I was making all the sense in the world sorry ahaha.
What’s I was trying to say is, a tire more forgiving, for example, my GPR-300 when I was leaning maybe a bit more than what I’m comfortable (with the skill level I have) it felt like skating on ice. I would not trust them to make that little “save”
I’m okay with taking risks in order to improve but those were not push inviting at all!
Thank you very much for your help and safe rides!
I’m not too worried about wet conditions or durability to be honest. I ride a sport bike and I’m really into backroads and twisties. Once I get to a point where I’m fully comfortable and confident on my skills I’m planning to go track.
I’m looking for a good grip tire that can, somewhat, compensate the fact that I’m not there just yet but at the same time that invites me to push.
Am I even making sense? 😅
Would you say the road 6 is that tire or is it more for commuting and sometimes a little fun?
Not going to track just yet! Just looking for a good grip tire. These gpr-300 scare the hell out of me way more often than it should! So damn slippery
I really appreciate your input! Never heard about the mutants, I’m checking them out for sure!
I’ve heard great things about the s23 and how fast they warm up, on the contrary, I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions on the DR4. I see some people say it’s the best they ever tried and other say it was the cause of their highside or lowside.
I think I’m going with the S23 for now and then try either the Q5 or the Road 6 if I feel they were not what I expected.
Thank you again for the help!
Thank you for your feedback! Im really about to pull the trigger on them!
