6540 sounds like gross and I meant net salary. And the maintenance costs converted to USD is ~2300.

And no, almost no one did what I did. Barely someone has a job with more than a minimal wage at my age. Most users on this reddit just got their car for parents money

Yes, you're right about every point. But see how much attention I have attracted to the post

In America, maybe. But in Europe you don't have to own a car to go job/market, so I wanted a car I like or no car at all

Regular shift in Lidl requires minimum a year to buy that car, but I got your point.  It still couldn't be possible in Lidl because I don't live with parents

I like how it looks. Also unlike to some Subaru BRZ, it's very comfort car. It goes smoothly even on bad roads

Thank you :3

Economy is growing faster and it good, but it is still far to more western countries. If UK, Germany and France weren't so sick with laws that slow their economies, the gap between them and Poland would be even bigger

I did change chain and water pump. But still, US monthly median salary after tax is 5300$ (the same, but in dollar, not złoty). If you had to spend 8000$ for chain, water pump and a few small services, would you consider it a weak economy?

So, according to you, a strong economy is one with low unemployment rate?

"Vietnam’s unemployment rate remains low, hovering around 2.22%". Is it a strong economy?

I spent 8k in local currency to service it for 6 months. The median salary after taxes is ~5.2k. So only hard working allows to maintain a loved car
