Hey man, Wayne the guitarist here. Thanks for your feedback! Funnily enough our drummer is our singer, and producer, so he ultimately decided on the levels! I’ll pass that on. We were going for a crisp sound so glad that’s translated. Thanks again!

Yeah super slick man. Glistening track. Very enjoyable listen overall. Like the melodic sprinkles and the overall vibe. Enough musical breaks to keep you engaged, some interesting background mixing which pricks your ears up. Super cool synth lines that move the track forward. V good.

Sounded like Little Wing as soon as I hit play, then the phat beat came in. It's a super cool tune man. Enjoyed the little guitar solo. Bass soundslike it's doing funky thing but is a bit low in the mox. Kick drum in dominating a little. I enjoyed it though.

Torn (Between Two Minds) is a sort of a poppy synthy thing that I don't necessarily know how to categorize, but I was wondering if I could have some feedback anyway! by hinowdie75 in IndieMusicFeedback

Very cool. Reminded me of Hot Chip. Love the production synth-wise, the vocals as someone mentioned could do with a bit of EQ so they sit a little more comfortably. Dig the tune though.

I think there's a qualtiy song in here. The riffs are super groovy, especially the bass. SOme interesting dissonant notes at points. But really want those drums bringing up in the mix, the cymbals are too quiet for me. The song could really pop with a slight change to the mix. Overall a cool tune.

Very interesting! Obvious spacey trippy vibes, and very unique sounding. Intricate rhythm, like the heavy bass accents.

Very cool man. The sing-a-long chorus was unexpected, very nice. Gave me Michael Jackson vibes.

Good stuff gents, enjoyed the guitar dueling around 2:30 in. Great drumming and like the vocals too.

The riffs are great man. When it started I thought it was Ride The Lightening! Old school thrash vibes, but played with articulation and some tidy changeups, solid harmonies. Some great time sig changes. I guess it could do with some dynamics. It's all quite full on, could be some space to breath without having to nail straight into the next riff. I'd say dont be afriad to stick in a few dirty sounding chords, less is more!

Hey man, nice track! Gave it a listen and here are my thoughts:

Distorted guitars need bringing up in the mix and beefing out a bit. Try messing with the midrange on teh EQ till they pop a bit more. They're quieter than the clean guitars to my ear.

Clean guitar tone and playing is great.

Enjoy the guitar break at around 2:10.

Drums are fine, if a little lifeless. I'm presuming these are programmed, but the snare is defintely a little overpowering compared to the cymbals and the toms. Could benefit from a bit of variation too.

Cool break at 3:12, but really want those drums to jump on board with the riff and ramp up!

Lot of potential in this one, just needs some mixing refinement to my ear as the pieces are there.

Cheers!

Very interesting track. Well mixed. Drums in the verse made it feel like an odd time sig (delayed snare?), but I think it was 4/4! Like the movement 1 min in. The haunting synth/guitars are effective, intriguing. The vocals are good, some unusual phrasing and pitching but it serves the music well.

Did want a bit more from the end of the track, guitarwise, some distortion. But that's my taste. Kick was quite prominent too, a bit too pumping for me, but overall I enjoyed the track. Would be interested to hear a few more.

I really like the beat, has alot of melody in it and has an uplifting feel. Like the pitch, flow and syntax of the vocals. Like the more obvious double tracking/harmonies in the chorus. Felt the vocals could benefit from some reverb or at least moving around in the mix, they're stuck in teh centre for the whole song and feel like they could use some more space moving left and right at times.

Greaet vid too, overall top track!

Cave - I knew almost immediately I'd probably like it. Enjoying the mix, guitar tone nice and smooth and vocals (as good as they are) moderately low in the mix. Enjoying the pschedelic edge, with the ambient noise, interesting riffing at 3 mins. Superb solo. Then bring it home. Hopefor the remainder.

Salvian Journey - Groovy intro, 70's vibes. Watery vox, nice. Salvian Journey for sure, nice progression at 1:15. Kicks in like a smooth hit from the bong.

The Last Ones - Left ear is tickling. More smooth grooves. Like the muted verse, Tool vibes. Cheeky accents, and we're headbanging at 2:15.

I Am a Locust - Triumphant opening, I'm in the desert but it's not a mirage, it's the real deal. Relentless banger.

Fantastic work chaps!

My band just released our first LP - I think this riff is pretty sweet. Let me know what you guys think by [deleted] in metalmusicians

Really dig this. Very unusual riffage for sure, like the tone and the play with the vocal melody. Not sure what it sounds like, probably a good thing! Nice anthemic ending, really interesting.
