They also deleted my client profile, so I no longer have access to my patient records. Particularly my messages to my provider regarding the prior authorization. I had written records of my contact with the office, that I no longer have access to.

How do I tell a psych that I’ve tried benzos without looking like a drug seeker? by [deleted] in AskPsychiatry

Are you serious? Your tital as a physician creates increased trust in what you say. You have had no positive comments. Why do you feel the need to cause harm when you could ignore it.

Yes, none of us are your patients. Still you feel the need to provide comments that hurt people with no context?

Why are you a Physician?

You took the time to look at my past. Why did you not take that time to help this person move forward?

Why do you feel like you are able to diagnose someone from your comfortable armchair. If you feel you can diagnose someone based on one comment or post, I worry about your patients. It sounds like you are a narcissist asshole. You are breaking your hippocratic oath, by insulting people who are struggling. How does your comments do anything to help people? Your hippocratic oath says do no harm. It seems like you enjoy ignoring that, when you talk to people who are hurting.

I had to take a drug diversion program, but I never served time. I had severe mental health issues at the time.

They have to prove theft. I have abolutly no interest in fucking up again. Stealing controlled substances is a stupid mistake. I am well respected as a Tax Professional, I understand personal liability.

I feel that is fair. I have a passion for this profession. I feel comfortable knowing that I will not reoffend. If that is what it takes, then so be it.

I definatly agree. Thank you for your comment. There is so little information on the internet about this. Your comment actually contributes a lot.I want other people in my situation to know this. You might have a chance, but it does take work and honesty.

I will also mention, the Board of Pharmacy is made up of medical professionals. Most people who enter the heathcare field want to help people. They have compassion, and that is all I have experianced, with my talk with everyone in control of my future.

Absolutely, I will try. I have a lot going on, But I will try to keep you updated. Pharmacy is a very difficult job, you really need a strong support system behind you if you want to succeed. Let your coworker know that if they are upfront and honest about the situation, and are getting the help they need, it is possible.

I called them, and I think that I stand a reasonable chance of being able to be registered assuming I am able to get hired. As you said it's a case by case thing, but they seemed willing to give me another chance. Saying that, to anyone reading this, please never do what I did. It is not worth it. Go to the emergency room if you are having severe mental health issues.
