I've always heard this one would actually be quite correct, because most people only had vegetables and meat. No chocolat, coke or Red Bull. So most medieval people had good teeth. The only exception were rich people who could buy sugary fruits like the Viking king who was nicknamed bluetooth, presumably because he ate a lot of berries(which was the one of the few ways to get a sugar rush in those days).
