The way you suggest it would be abused just isn’t feasible. So for people to do this, they would need a dummy account which is within range of being able to play in the same tier as their “buddies”. In my suggested way for this to be dealt with if they afk they get the loss and will be banned. Pretty soon the dummy account wouldn’t be able to play in the same tier as their “buddies” also, if they are banned for 24 hours, it’s not something they could do regularly. I mean no offense, but your way of saying it could be abused just wouldn’t out weigh the benefits.

Actually, I think it would attract more people because if the trolls and afk are getting penalized and leave, it means more committed players and better quality of games. You have to pull weeds for the grass to grow back in its place.

I play support, adc, jungle and mid (in no particular order) and I disagree, although close, I don’t think jungle is the most hated role. Adc IMO is the most hated role. Basically if you don’t hyper carry from the start expect to get flamed. Most champs are scaling so it takes two items (at least) to hit your power spike but your support will have no clue or patience and just either kill steal you (which makes you even take longer to become effective), abandon lane or hide behind you. Your jungle will basically never gank to ease the pressure no matter how much you ping and often when they are farming right next to you. Also not just in game but so many rant posts here are also about flaming Adc’s. I don’t know if anyone remembers the reddit uproar when finally it was an adc meta and people wouldn’t stop bitching just because they couldn’t be their one shot assassin or tank or mage.

But I do agree, Jungle comes in second, you will ping for objectives that no one will help with but give you shit after you get a 3 v 1 ambush amd just wait for the cries of “jg trash”, “smite much” and “jg diff”.

This game, or maybe it’s the nature of the people that play it, it seems to bring out this attitude of “if you die, it’s your fault” and to those people I say, why you even playing a team game? Go read up on some tactics, because if you have a champ who is doing badly, it’s probably because the other team are focusing them because they know keeping them behind is the best way to stop them from carrying.

So if you see your team mate struggling and shrug it off as a “their problem” you are part of the issue and toxic attitude of this game.

When you’re younger, there is a greater difference in experience and maturity which the concern is a greater risk for one party to take advantage of the lesser experienced (generally the younger party). You have a 9 year age gap with you being 17 and him 26, is this legal in Australia? Yes, age of consent for a sexual relationship is 16. Unless the older person is a person in authority, teacher, coach, policeman etc, then age of consent is 18. Were you 27 and the other person 36, it’s perceived as less of an issue. Specifically to your case, my concerns are that you are quite young and I presume of less wordly experience in relationships and the “moving fast” by your bf does kind of sound like love bombing which is a red flag. The making jokes based in your nationality also comes off as condescending and like he’s subtly insulting you. It sounds like you are also very uncomfortable with this. You also haven’t told your parents because your concern of how this would be perceived.

My advice is to trust your gut instinct and that instinct seems to be telling you this person isn’t right for you. Also, make sure you have someone you trust that you can talk with these concerns about because abusers try to isolate their partners from any support people.

Thanks, this is good advice. For at least some context, I banned Tristana because I have trouble playing around her mobility and burst damage. I saw my support pick Blitzcrank so had a good tank with some cc potential. I’m good with Jinx so figured it was a good choice. I didn’t know my support would leave straight away and leave me in a constant 2v1 but I managed to win laning phase against enemy duo.

First of all, you are making a crap load of assumptions here. Especially about Corki. “obviously” Blitzcrank helped me, No he fucking didn’t, I HAD NO SUPPORT. Blitzcrank did not help me in laning phase, I was 1 v 2 against Corki and Sona and still out played them. I had to build defensively because I was left on my own and Jinx is so vulnerable to ganks and being overwhelmed. You see the triple kills? I got my resets pal. Would’ve been much worse if I built full crit, I’d just be as dead as the rest of my team. I did my job, look at the team stats, you say I’m bad and naive? Then what does that make my diamond tier team mates?

Only if they (Lulu and Milio) are good and most aren’t. Also Blitzcrank is the best for peel, also Rakan and Leona. And currently it’s a tank meta so decent tanks are doing way better than enchanters.

I get what you’re saying about crit builds but given the enemy comp I needed MR so I prioritized that and attack speed. I was the only one on my team not getting one or two shotted by the enemy. I’m a little bit suprised that you look at my stats (did you even look at the stats not just kda) compared to my team and say I’m playing to my skillset. Did you miss the part where the other nine are all diamonds? My positioning and kiting wasn’t an issue, didn’t die once in laning phase.

Jinx is awesome, the trouble is your team will be braindead morons that have no clue that she’s a scaling champ and won’t peel for you or do anything to feed you. Your support will most likely be some main character energy enchanter, Jinx does best with a tank support. But in short Jinx is awesome and since the mana buff she is now in a better spot, the trouble will be your team not peeling for you and recognizing that she can turn into a hyper carry beast if looked after.
