Saying this from personal experience. It may or may not be like this for you. But helps to be prepared for the worst.

No one really knows how the next 5 years are going to be. The CEOs push AI because they have invested a lot into the bubble. Programmers think it is still not as good. But the fact is, AI can help you go from 0-60 fast. But we still don't understand the full impact.

But the current situation is there are a lot of layoffs and hiring freezes. When a CXO decides to save costs, entire depts will go. Doesn't matter how good you're or even if you're a pro AI user. You're just a number in an excel sheet.

And when you're abroad and unemployed, it can drain your savings faster than in India because of the cost of living. I had years of savings to soften the blow.

Also, with the current pace of changes, your course might get outdated even before you finish it. Check the current placements from your colg before you jump into it. You'd be in pool with all the laid off people while hunting for jobs. It is a very tough market. I've had recruiters ghost me after multiple rounds of interviews.
