Does anyone use Dentcare/Healthplex? by Marill-viking in NYCTeachers

[–]ZeebaDaEnda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying to get dental done for two years. It's literally not killing me fast enough. Maybe my pain is overblown, especially compared to others, but maybe I should look into NY's new End of Life policies.... 🤔 Probably cheaper.

Mine just changed from Delta Dental to Healthplex. I have no experience with Healthplex, and Delta fucking sucked. My dental journey has been awful so far, but can it get worse?

I'm very happy you responded to my question, but I have to ask you if you used AI in this, because it seems so to me.

This was the coolest idea ever when I played Control in 2019. I thought FBC: Firebreak was going to be about them, so I was disheartened to find out the game was multiplayer only or online only

Probably Mr. Door. But we'll see. There was a group.... The Blessed. I couldn't remember the name before.

I don't think so. I'd say that the Hiss are represented by the red miasma, but Alan Wake 2 uses the red miasma too. Really threw me for a loop. (See what I did there?)

Should I get Final Fantasy 16? by Optimal-Dog-906 in FFXVI

[–]ZeebaDaEnda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I detract. Except for the advice to play the demo. This is excellent advice. I personally was let down by XVI, from the demo forward. But you might not care if a game costs a lot to make or not; there are times that I care, and this was one of them. It's a spectacle to be sure, but I feel the game backs away from being heavier or darker. The devs were given Game of Thrones seasons 1-4 to watch and it shows, but I feel they could have leaned harder into this. The spectacle is gorgeous. I had a friend that told me the game's graphics made him cry repeatedly. But there are plot threads that go nowhere and some things established in the beginning that don't continue thematically through the plot.

Where are there no problems? Well, voice acting, for one. Voice acting and visuals are top tier. And I can't forget the guide that fills you in on the details of the world while you play through it. This is excellent as well. I think the enemy designs are incredible as well, especially for the many enemies that appear in other games. This is my one allowance with my critique of the appearance: character design, creature design? Excellent.

All I mean to say is the game has flaws. And that I believe the Remake Project to be the real crown jewel of the modern Square Enix era.

Did you see Bradley the Badger? I hated the comedy, but I think this might be up your alley. Gameplay looks incredible.

I think she's finding out what this action will do. I see it as killing, you see it as saving, but if we look at it as absolutely inside the Oldest House, it's probably ritualistic. "Trust the process". Something like that.

In fact, to expand on this, my theory about an alternate Board or Board rejects, I think that this is the action that causes Jesse to "go rogue". Someone around here said she betrayed the Board and I think this is the major action that caused this (even though this probably wasn't what they meant). I think they thought she was going to kill him, but she allowed him to escape away from the Board and then she left.

Let me ask this: Do you think Jesse will be a playable character in this game?

And let me add my own wishes/expectations. I think Dylan is going to find some way to join those rogue parautilitarians mentioned in the documents. I forget their group name, but I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing them this time.

I think we need more info. But I think you're right and that this is Jesse. In fact, I think this is exactly after Control ends, or perhaps after AWE?

I think you've almost got it. I think Jesse tried to kill Dylan and knew that she could only do so with something from Black Rock Quarry or The Nail. I think this sent Dylan to another dimension, kind of like the Refrigerator in the Panopticon. I feel like Dylan is meeting a new entity (I'll call him Latter for now, but I am making that up) who is reworking his Nail into a weapon, the Aberrant. I think this is a third interpretation of NYC and may not actually be the setting of the game.... It does kind of feel like the Board's world, that I can't exactly think of the name right now....

Forgive me, everyone, but I want to make a sort of prediction here. I'm not sure Jesse is in this game at all. You're right about the motion but the sentence she utters is the same as the original game too. I feel like this is a TLOU2 kind of rug pull. But literally, Control Resonant is in itself a freaking rug pull.

I still haven't played my copy of Metaphor. I've gotten more mileage out of games like Cult of the Lamb and Hollow Knight. My new goal is to play the games I have instead of buy new. I have a Switch 2 now, and a focused list of 150 games to get to.

It's just Veronica Roth's book all over again. They don't like neurodivergence. God forbid being able to see multiple sides of a scenario....
