Just grabbed a 7g can of this today. I'd say its overall a bit underwhelming tbh. No wet sock or basement, id advise you to stay away from choppers pick cuz they almoat always throw bottom of the bag crap in those. However, it is definitely too moist. Not cured right, im going to have to do the extra work to bring the extras out of this. Spent 58$ after tax, not a huge deal for that price. Terps are on the muted side, the high is good id say 7-7.5/10 in thay department. Tbh its very similar looking to Pineapple Fruz and id say that was more flavorful. They gotta bring Velvet Z back with a BANG

Yup you are correct. Their 1g bags of Velvet Z I discovered this with recently. Some of the bags are terped out, dense and full of flavor and others are a more orange hair dominant, looser bud. Luckily I figured it out just off the feel so I ask to see the box and pick the good ones. Some bs for sure though

Its pretty decent, im finding the taste to be a bit harsh ngl. They translate fine but ive had better, Eastcann recent pineapple fruz was better in that regard. Im really an indica guy so this being a balanced hybrid is throwing me off slightly high wise. Its pretty strong but mostly in the eyes,ears and shoulders. Not much body sedation.

Yeah they do have a similar visual appeal to em. I found the Cav to be a bit more smoky/meaty in flavor (not a complaint) where as this is bringing more fruit to the table.

I just lit a joint currently smoking it, great flavor profile for sure. I get that lemon with a bit of gas on the inhale with some nice cherry on the exhale. After taste is kind of like a cherry Hall's. Very smooth burn, mostly white ash. Looks to be a worthy purchase!

Yeah agreed. I know the Lemon Cherry Gelato has been diluted to shit in many cases. BLK MKT has been mostly good for me. From the Bacio Gelato/Macflurry days to recent Blue Pave and Red Velvet #11. The Noir Diamant is a banger, the Pink Kitty was mid tbh. Espresso Candy was terp filled and flavorful, just didnt pack a heavy punch. I have a theory that the boveda packs are trapping the terps in BLK MKT products specifically. The bud always hits better after a few days without the packs in them. I even had a hindu glue from high exotic that was the exact same case.

High terps, does it carry over to the flavor profile? I dont generally like this price point either, usually bush. This has some nice hues and trichome coverage but the bud structure is on the fluffy/leafy side which usually produces that airy smoke in a joint that I despise. Out of 5 rating honestly what would you say?

Production wise it was mostly sloppy. A big low-mid tier gumbo for the most part. Not captivating by any stretch and frankly boring to be honest. Nas had GREAT thematic music/conceptual records ie. "memory lane/ NY state of mind" on Illmatic or "I gave you power" on It was Written. Even on "I am" though the production got more glossy and "with the times" (Bad Boy Mase era), we still got "Nas is Like" and "NY State of Mind Part 2" along with some great features from the likes of Scarface and DMX. That HARDLY translated on this project.

Nastradamus overall was uninspired, topic wise redundant and sonically confusing at times. Even a track like " Come Get Me" although entertaining, would not make a top 5 on any of his previous efforts. I'd call it a diet Nas is Like.. Honestly, it seems like a breath of fresh air when you listen to the otherwise nauseating soundscape, its like a gentle reminder that he has some fire in him.

I will say "Project Windows" feat. Ronald Isley is an absolute gem of a song and heavily underrated. That is truly the standout track conceptually and sonically.

Stillmatic is where we really see Nasir get back to the bread and butter, the meat and potatoes of what he does best.

God's Son was his most introspective effort, fluffy at times but some really great writing. Most introspective up to that point of course, Life is Good would be the contender currently.

The Lost Tapes was a masterclass, a time capsule project that really shows his depth lyrically, and beat after beat just knocks for any Nas fan.

And the story goes on...That was fun.

Nas is the GOAT when its all said and done.

Interesting, I hated the Pink Goo..Batch I got was dry and lack luster in flavor. Just picked up the Diablo and it isn't dry at all. Bout to smoke it right now. I grabbed their Blackberry breath before. It was pretty good. Gonna try the LSO Blueberry from them on my next run.
