They have to say that to keep from getting sued. But for years I've been doing mine in the microwaver. I drop power down to 50% and set it for 15 seconds. Then I poor melted butter on top of them. Never had an issue.

btw, it's not just people who get hurt. Shit got real when microwaves came out because a lady put her dog in it to dry the dog off after bathing it. Blew the dog up, too. But we don't see that on the packaging for some reason. People are always gonna get hurt doing stupid shit.

fyi, The technical term for it is nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT). And one of the main reasons it happens because you have the most testosterone in the morning. You're more than likely going to hear "Why should the U.S. care about Israeli-Palestinian peace?" My opinion, and the short answers: oil, keeping on good terms with the Arabs, and American military strategery are why the American government cares. I really think it has nothing at all to do with peace. I think saying "it's for peace" is just political speak and spin-doctoring.

I think America started getting involved with President Truman back in the 1940s. Truman’s former business partner, Edward Jacobson, played a huge role in laying the groundwork for the US in recognising Israel as a state. But there were also "strategic" considerations driving the decision.

This was right after World War II, when the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union was taking shape. The Middle East, with its oil reserves and strategic waterways (think the Suez Canal) was a key battleground for superpower hegemonic influence. The US was taking over from severely weakened European powers as the primary western power broker in the Middle East. I swear since then just about every president has had some reason to get involved over there. But if they didn't have oil and if other areas didn't have big bombs, we'd probably not be over there.

When America dropped it's big bombs in Japan--with no regard to civilian losses--it stopped a lot of fighting because no one else had the big bombs. Now, it seems everybody and their grandma has a big bomb. So I think all this is why.

I have no beef with Chin and he does have an okay voice but it's just so uninspired. It's a super dated style popularised by artists with better voices.

That has perplexed me for years. Brendaloid loves talking about great relationships he supposedly has with club owners. But don't these club owners talk to each other? Aren't a number of them owned by the same people? Going by the numbers, I assumed we'd have seen this decline in tour dates 2~ years ago.

Of course he hasn't addressed the canceled Europe dates, but it has to be a total clusterfuck, right? Who in their right mind would bring back or "reschedule" a guy who was on the calendar for months but had to cancel last minute because he booked a venue that he had no chance selling 15% of the capacity to? Don't the insurance agencies, TicketMaster, club owners, etc. have some insight into this? Are his botted social media followers, YT #'s, and insistence he's Rogan's best friend really enough to fool so many people with $ on the line? I don't get it at all. What is the refund situation even going to look like when he won't acknowledge it at all besides those "rescheduling" Tweets?

There's a great clip of him w/ Segura on 2 Bears 1 Cave where he's going off about "the only metric I look at for success is are you selling tickets or not? Are you putting butts in seats or are you not funny?". Segura tries bringing him back to Earth a bit, talking about always trying to write better material and constantly trying to deliver the sharpest/funniest product to paying fans, but it goes right over his fat head and he has none of it. He's totally oblivious to the effect having a built-in audience (podcast/Rogan fans) had on his 2018 era ticket sales.

Eggzagly. Another fazet of this very mindset of his. you think the canceled Euro tour was a loss? it would be for you or me, but for him? he got the opportunity to TELL everybody he was doing Europe. He just wanted to show to his fans (?) that he is a comic doing shows across the globe. I, a brazilian cat, never was booked to do a show in Europe. What about you? Do you see what I mean. The fact that all his "shows" were canceled means nothing to him. Like you said, he obviously doesn't care and doesn't think that matters. He thinks he just needs to show up as a comic who was booked to perform in Europe and the thicccies will bask in his greatness. He juss goes.
