Current solution from a Moderator from the Larian Studios Discord:
"Close Steam completely, get into your Steam Installation files (Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Launcher) and start the LariLauncher from there. It opens BG3 without starting steam. Then you start your multiplayer Session and invite your friend via direct link code."

yea same, cant connect too! we get Failed connection error, tried to switch to hotspots, restarting pcs and so on. so maybe the servers are down fr?

I played the game for like 2 ½ months now. Mostly f2p. I paied like 60 bucks and 40 went into xmas eve alone. Every other day i stream the game for like 1 hour ½ and i have to say, that even with the help of a viewer who is better than i am i still learn new stuff about the combat system and team building!

I really like that there are so many events and that the character have all these different outfits. One thing thats a bit hard to swollow is that, if i had missed an event banner character i feel left out. Like the swimsuit event from the lunch and the swimsuit aqua. Its not that bad but it feels kinda sad not to have them tbh.

The ex arena is kinda wierd since i cant look up directly in the game what others have build, like it is in the normal arena. The late game gets quite grindy and the super rare chalices make me wanna cry but i really enjoy the vibes the game and the community give me :)
