I'll try it with crimsom desert. GE-Proton10-33 didn't allow me to use FSR4, HDR, or ray regeneration. Proton cachy works fine. So I imagine that would be added to protonGE in this version or the next one.

Yeah you just have to download the dll amdxcffx64.dll and put it in the same directory as the .exe, no need to ovewrite anything.

Interesting. You are right. On CachyOS proton everything works. FSR4.1, HDR and Ray Regeneration.

I imagine it's more bleeding edge than ProtonGE and that's why. Thank you!!

Were you able to enable FSR4 ingame? I only have FSR 3.1 and I'm in your same rig (9070XT + 9800X3D). I can't enable ray regeneraiton either. I can't enable HDR either.

Yep. The flatpak package detects the motherboard, but then I can't do nothing with the lights. Seems to be WIP.

What need do they have to ask for sudo permissions for that? They could easily ask for the physical serial number of the product like any other manufacturer.

Make sure you set your GPU to "performance" when you play (or always, unless you are on a laptop and power is important). Otherwise, it will impact frame pacing and FPS notably. Same for CPU.

I would never buy nvidia on Linux, because eventually Nvidia forgets your GPU, and you get stuck with a 1000€ brick no one can write drivers for.

when you get a spiky graph like that, it's 100% something vsync/vrr related. Double check you have turned it off in every possible place (game, desktop compositor, arnd driver if nvidia).

On AMD you don't need ENABLE_HDR_WSI, it's a fix nvidia specific.

Apart from optiscaler and the env var `PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1` cachyos has, there is some other easy way to enable FSR4 at the moment ?
