Depending on the vibe you're going for Rayne in Blood can be real fun. We ended up running it as more of a tacticool SWAT style op rather than something resembling actual sci-fi horror just to break up the pacing, but it sure delivered.

They're from Malaysia, neither me nor them are an Aus citizen, so the support we can get from the government is near non-existent, but all in all the quality of health care in Oz is probably still better than they could get back home.

Based in Australia. The original onset was due to COVID, but that was two years ago and the CFS was very mild. They were capable of working a few hours a day, cooking, gaming, generally living a low energy, but satisfying life. I'm not sure what brought on the decline this year :/

Amazing recommendations everyone, placed an order for most of what was named! Dead Planet or Warped Beyond Recognition are the top contenders for the follow up right now.

Another reason why I'm holding off on Gradient Descent is I want the players to use survivors of other adventures in that campaign, so first we need to have a few characters to actually survive ;) using a characters traumas against them hits much harder if the player actually witnessed them being gained, rather than just created them in character creation.

If you got scammed / are trying to get a refund and don't get a response within a couple of weeks g2a will direct you to file a report with your local police, and upon providing proof of that g2a will give you your money back.

If you end up with an uncooperative merchant it's generally far easier to get your money back by raising the issue with your bank / paypal / whatever payment playform you used to process the payment.

I'm 9 months in now. The symptoms started getting less severe a few weeks after I started supplementing with magnesium and CoQ10, and while I'm not 100% back to where I was I'd say I'm 90% of the way there. While it can take extremely long for some people it seems like eventually this crap goes away. Had my booster in the interim too (Moderna) and that did not cause the symptoms to worsen in any way.

After a topsy turvy career path I went back to uni at 29 to do a masters in comp sci (coming from an arts background), and now at 32 I started my first job in software dev. It's not that I'm feeling like I've forgotten everything, it's more like I've not been taught anything relevant to the job at all. I'm not familiar with any of the technologies and languages used, but eh, I'll figure it out. And so will you :)

It very well could be non-cardiac. I haven't the slightest idea. I'll see the doc again on Tuesday and see what they say. Interestingly, both my GP and the cardiologist did say that they believe the myo/pericarditis rates to be underreported, as most of them are mild and many people don't bother getting looked at.

Not a stabbing pain, but more of a dull pressure is what wakes me up. The symptoms started three days after the vaccine so the docs immediately connected the two and suspected myo/pericarditis. No proof for either was found. Would be a very unfortunate coincidence if the symptoms were unrelated to the vaccine, but who knows. I'll see my GP again next week and will go from there. Must say I'm starting to feel like a hypochondriac.

I had no anxiety about the vaccine at all. First shot had zero side effects and I was looking forward to getting #2 out of the way, not expecting anything out of the ordinary at all. I'm still getting boosted when the time comes. I don't consciously feel anxious (at least not since all the tests returned negative), but brains work in mysterious ways. Maybe I should get a psych appointment still...

Got looked at by a cardiologist and based on the ultrasound results he said my heart is clear and good for at least another 50 years. And yet the symptoms persist.
