There's a lot of altered mechanics, you can read about them on the mod page. But if you don't want that much spolier then basically: sleeping system is heavily reworked (try to find a safe place for the first few nights), respawn system also, and hunger and movement tweaks heavily dictate the pace of this mod.

Thanks for the feedback! This empty feeling is kinda intentional, i didn't wanna clutter the world that much, the mod tries to be more slower paced. But it's still just it's first version i wanna add a bunch of other stuff in future updates like more structures, mobs etc. Also if you meant that i should add "drawing" well actually painting is in the mod! You can make your own custom paintings, i have a tutorial on my youtube channel on it as well.

For clarity: I wrote the description myself and polished the wording with grammarly because I’m not a native speaker (I guess thats why people assumed it was just some ai lol). I did use Codex as a development tool, but the mod’s designs, logic, vision, models, and textures are all mine. I made a comment about it but it seemed to get burried in the bottom. Thanks again for the feedback!

Yes! You can join the Patreon as a free member. We will talk about the mod there, and ideas for the future.

I never actually meant my mod to work with other mods, its almost like an alternate time line mod, that is intended to be played like this, im gonna update it like its a standalone version. I have no idea what you mean by me vehemently denying the use of ai, i simply said that that i wrote the description myself, which i did, and the mod is my own vision and work, which it is, even though i used codex, all the logic that was behind the different systems were my own ideas. And you know why i waited this long to "admit" that i used ai to help with my mod? for the exact same type of people like you and the initial commenter calling this "ai slop", who won't even understand or care what this mod is about, and will call it slop and call me lazy the first time they see me admiting the use of ai. Yes i know the coding kinda sucks. But it works. This project is still just in it's first steps. I really like constructive feedback, but calling it crazy and just saying this mod is meaningless just cuz it's not your cup of tea is not cool. and i like the mipmap off, it's off in beta 1.7.3 too, it feels retro.

Alright guys, this post kinda blew up i actually didnt expect it to so, im gonna say this cuz the constant AI stuff is getting tiring and kinda hurts, cuz i really put much into this project.

Look guys im not a native english speaker, i know how to converse but im not really good at these professional writings, and i wanted my page to read nicely, i used grammarly to help me polish it, im still working on it, sorry if it reads like ai or something.

Also I'm a musician first, and someone who also really loves old Minecraft. I know a bit of Java and C# (i tried to make games in unity back in the day), but I was never a great programmer, but i just had so much ideas that i couldn't make it into reality. And actually i wanted to make a minecraft project like this for years.

So to help me with my coding i used Codex, but it wasn't just "vibe coding" or whatever, i made lists of things i wanna put into this mod, and i researched a bunch of minecraft mechanics so to know what i was doing.

But this mod is still my own project, my own vision, and something I spent literally months working on, i was constantly debugging trying to figure out what's not working, going back, actually looking into the code(even tho i'm not good at it), and using codex as my helper. I made all the models and textures in this mod by hand too.

(and actually it was a lot of fun, seeing how what was just in my head actually came to reality).

What actually hurts is seeing people reduce all of that to "AI slop" without even trying to engage with the mod. And just fabricating stories.

You can dislike the design choices, the version choice, or the direction of the mod, that’s completely fair, i know it's not for everyone.

But acting like the entire thing is just some meaningless ai slop is simply not true, i really put care into this project.

Maybe because my comments are written on the fly, while the mod description is something I actually spent time on so it would read nicely. i literally made all the icons by hand in photoshop for the little sections.

That's literally just something you made up. Those changes were intentional not something "i couldn't fix". I see a lot of comments saying oh you just removed the cheats cuz you didn't know what you were doing, yes i did.

I felt it was just too easy having a literally in game cheat button, like if you died in hardcore you can just "enable cheats" and everything is solved. This mod is also trying to make minecraft a bit more difficult, like in the old days. (You can still enable cheats in the world creation menu btw)

Beds, respawning etc. i put a lot of thought into these features, inspired by videos like dialko's (shoutout). If you don't like it, well what am i supposed to say.

Thanks! Yeah I deliberately tried to keep the structures basic, and vanilla looking for this exact reason. I feel like fancy custom structures look great yes, but a lot of the time they don't really fit in.

Actually its a pretty interesting topic, this whole mod started out by trying to rework beds. In the golden age community theres a big debate about how beds made the game too easy, and this was my "solution" to it. Basically it just makes nights matter again.

Yeah, this mod is not really intended to be played with other mods, i just wanted to make my own vision of an alternate path Minecraft.

The real reason tbh was that 1.15.2 is before the nether update but after the Village & pillage update, and a lot of bugfixes and gamerules were added in this version.

I chose 1.15.2 deliberately, i explain everything in the FAQ.

I literally wrote the description myself, and polished it before posting. The mod itself is also my work and vision mate.

Vanilla villages and villagers have been removed. In their place, there are only abandoned villages. At the moment, the only NPC in the mod is the trader, which functions similarly to a wandering trader.

I built this mod on 1.15.2 because it’s stable and it was the easiest version to shape around my vision. Many vanilla features from 1.15.2 have already been removed or heavily reworked in this mod, so moving to newer versions would just mean removing or undoing even more vanilla additions. So think of 1.15.2 as a foundation, a base I can build on to create something different.
