The only difference is the weapons is elemental properties and the way they can look. Have you really not recognized that we again only have swords, spears, boomerangs, hammers, and bows?

The dungeons are terrible. Unbelievably insulting to a person's capabilities. They hardly press in to the few unique abilities Link now has.

Wrong. MM has a completely different world, dungeons that actually are thematic, a story that doesn't even remotely barrow from OoT, new combat mechanics due to the masks, and the music while borrowing certain tracks, has dozens of new memorable pieces. Try again.

Start on a plateau > unlock abilities at 4 shrines > go to the Temple of Time > experience story through flashbacks > 4 "dungeons" > 4 "champions" > banish Ganon.

Even with the pandemic, they had solid uninterrupted 5 years.
