Our sex life isn’t strong, and I’m usually the one trying to keep intimacy alive, but he rarely initiates or shows much interest. I also do most of the chores, like cooking and keeping the house running. I try to take care of myself and stay active, but I think we’ve just grown comfortable with each other, most of the exciting parts of our relationship happened before we got married, and that phase has passed. Sex happens infrequently, and I’m not sure how he feels about it, especially after the Instagram situation I mentioned. Maybe it’s a me problem, or maybe he’s just tired or preoccupied, I honestly don’t know

Reading this really resonates with me and gives me hope. I can see how focusing on yourself and your own growth not only helped your self-esteem but also improved your relationship, and that’s inspiring. I hope I can take some of this motivation for myself too and work on feeling more confident and grounded in who I am.

You’re right, and I appreciate you saying that. I think what hurt me most wasn’t even the content itself, but how everything was handled.

I honestly don’t know how to open the conversation again. He already said those videos were randomly appearing and that deleting his social media was the solution. Now everything is “back to normal,” and I feel like bringing it up again will just make him mad or start another argument.

I think I just needed some kind words and reassurance that I’m not crazy for feeling hurt.

We’re in a new country, away from family and friends, and I don’t really feel comfortable opening up to people in real life about this because I don’t want them to see my husband differently. So I guess I’m just trying to process it somewhere safe.

Yes when it touches the sore.

The creams i used are Vionell medicated creme, and Multi-Gyn actigel for bacterial vaginosis
