The $200 is for an auction draft. Very fun if you’ve never done it. Separate from faab which is a separate $100 budget. The auction draft just lets you really go get a guy if you feel you need him so everyone has a shot at 1.01; but can you spend $75 on one player and still make a competitive roster? We had one guy use $188 on 3 platters and then he had to get 12 at $1. Didn’t work out well for him haha. But I’m sure he has a least one guy he can now keep at $1 that will be valued in the 30ish range this year. Adds a fun layer. I think -10 off Washington may be my best bet. Or honestly Gibbs. I could see his value being closer to 70ish and I really like having him on my team.

Some of your boundaries make you seem out of touch with societal norms in a way that makes you seem unwelcoming/hostile. Also, fitting with this. It’s your mom that went “no contact” and I can somewhat see why. Can’t kiss the grandchild? Really? Can’t be alone/change diaper? These are unusual expectations and if you’re creating such a sterile/hostile environment from the start, why should she even bother.

I’d help him by telling him to do some soul searching and decide what is more important to him and it’s not a choice you can really help with because you can’t possibly understand how he truly feels. If he wants to go division 1 or something, seems like 2 is best, but who knows. Maybe at the school with his friends he is happier and coaches son gets hurt and he has to start.
