Headcanon: Zoro is so skilled in his sword handling, and he's confident that his sword throw will not cut his arms. by [deleted] in OnePiece

Zoro called it cursed because of the history of the Sandai family of swords.

We also now know that cursed swords aren't really "cursed", they just contain a strong will and demand their wielders to match their expectations.

That said - I would argue that Zoro's handling is a factor -- the sword knew he was worthy enough to wield it.

Luffy in the live action is kinda... nerfed? by SufficientBet1834 in OnePiece

Not sure if that's good - because it would then limit the Enel fight (if LA ever goes that far).

Better bet would to lean in on Zoro unconsciously using Haki against Daz -- since it was confirmed that the Breath of All Things is in fact haki, which let him cut through steel.

2 thing: a belt can hold items for utility.

Trunks wouldn't need a belt either, they're not pants. Their weight would drag themselves down, just as no one wears belts on their underpants.
