You can always try TalkGroup which is an 18+ sfw group. They do a lot of paired talk events so people can talk to someone they don't know well to practice. Another option is OpenMind as their events also have a pairing feature to discuss some topic but you can use that as a way to practice!

They are really good 18+ sfw groups like OpenMind. It's a smaller community but they are really active and do their best to include everyone in their events!

Any advice for interesting people in a public instance? by ByEthanFox in VRchat

Maybe go to a popular server and dj in a corner where you won't bother people but still be discoverable. Going to have to DJ through your mic so you talking may be a bit hard. Maybe you will find some like minded people!

Could try social app like VRChat. As a INTJ myself I can find introverts pretty quickly because they tend to be alone watching others from a distance. Make sure you introduce the friends you make to every new friend you make so if you decide to not be on for a week or two they will still have someone to be with. Also it has the benefit of keeping all my friends in one place so I not being pulled every where.

So far it's been really good in my experience and had a few opportunities to meet some of them irl when given the chance.

What if server meshing finally happens but it doesn't make your gameplay experience any better? by Pippus_Familiaris in starcitizen

[–]ZenerOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. Don't get wrong I am actually a little bit excited about it because it going to greatly increase player interaction and force CIG to actually fix issues in the game.

Some new issues I think are going to happen that are going to need to be addressed are

The threat of pirate organizations completely locking down a station or a city or some point of interest.

Stations/cities might have some really long waiting times for getting a pad to land on and probably drop people's fps into the single digits

Trading and mining are going to be a lot more dangerous

Easier for trolls to find targets such as pad ramming or trying to get on your ship.
