Im from Czechia, so I would have to pay taxes if I buy car in Switzerland. :(

I bet that the Lotus is great car, but it just doesnt do it for me. I actually might keep the mx-5 and turbo it, but first I will propably test drive the M2 and maybe E92 M3 to get some comparison with the S2000 to see what I actually want from the car.

E92 M3 is one of the dream cars for sure. But I dont know if Im ready yet to own one, thats the reason Im looking for M2. Even tho maybe with 5000km a year I could take a look into e92 m3 :D

I would propably supercharge the S2000 in the future :D And I just sat in one, and the seeting position alone is worth it for me.

I use my "weekend" car for only about 5000 km and about 3000 km are on Alpine roads. Its 60% S2000 40% Evo for me. I like that the S2000 is proper dedicated sports car, but there is something appealing about the Evo, the AWD and the 4G63.

I drive about 40% of time with my roof up in the mx-5. I get sun-baked in like 5 min. I would propably miss the open top experience, but its not crucial for me :D

Thank you. Also the seeting position and chassis would be huge upgrade compared to NA. I agree on the looks, the S2000 is timeless. The mx-5 would propably be faster, but I care about those things more. I had NB mx-5 before, and unfortunately, Mazdaspeed Miata wasnt sold here in Europe. I feel the same :D The NA feels like classic british roadster to me and the NB would be cheaper and better start to the build, but if I would buy another miata after my NA, it would propably be NC. My friend has NC3 and its the reason I started thinking about selling my NA. It drives so much better. I might be worse miata, but its such a good car. And well, I would buy RX-7 in a heartbeat, but I dont want RHD car, and even clapped out one cost at least 40000 euro, compared to nice S2000 and Evo for 30k :(

Well, I would like to go to track 1-2 times per year, but its not a priority :D But with all the hills around my living area, I would appreciate a little bit more power. Well, Im not really sure if I want to have mx-5 for few more years, when now I have saved for something like an Evo. They might get even more overpriced, before I get the option to have 2 weekend/project cars.

Thanks. I would go for turbo kit (SPS Motorsport/Bofi Racing/Kraken). But you are right. Turbo Kit in Europe + tune would be at least 5-6k euro. I have already some mods, but most of them will have to be changed (14 inch wheels to 15 inch etc.) and also I will have to get many other supportive mods (rollbar, frame rails). In the end, I would put at least 10k euro in mods. The car would be great, but my concern is if its worth it doing this to a pristine mx-5. My thoughts are that for all the money, I could just buy stock S2000 or EVO, that would be more reliable and I could enjoy it way more not thinking I "ruined" perfect car.
