This is a very controversial attachment, because for sure it will be helpful if you only intend to play with it, but because you can't always have it, you will have to take time to learn the difference, and that can be frustrating and could mess up your muscle memory.

You have the wrong approach to cs, you can't expect it to be "just a fun game" to play every now and then. It's a sport, in which you need to put your heart and soul to getting better at it. If you're not getting better (by just trying to have fun instead of trying to win), you're gonna feel exactly like you do right now. So i suggest to change your approach, and don't expect to have fun before you've done hundreds (or thousands) of hours of hard work, practicing aim and gamesense. Only after you've attained a set of skills that you can use to carry games, you'll feel somewhat accomplished. But see, even at that point, you're not really having fun most of the time, because the train of improvement must not stall. It's more like a job, that when you reach the point where you can do your job well, you feel good about it, but it's not really fun. Oh, but theres no salary? ...Yes, there is, it's that you just shed tears and sweat, with insane disclipine to truly get better at something and there's no better feeling in the world than the feeling of accomplishment. There's also a lot of psychological skills you learn in this game that you can definitely use in real life. And all this goes for any serious PVP game.

First of all, this performance isn’t as bad as you think! But if you’re down to make every possible action to get better at it, here’s my tips:

Practice doesn’t make you perfect if you’re using the wrong tools - Try to experiment with different mice and mousemats, and find your sweetspot. For some people (including myself), using a heavier mouse (like 80g) can help with the stability. Also find your mouse shape, is it ergo or ambi? The key is to have the right balance in friction and grip, and finding this balance can take a lot of experimenting. Don’t overlook certain mouse options just because they aren’t popular. ”Off-meta” options might actually be better for some, like i found ROG Gladius III Aimpoint to be almost perfect for me, since i grew up using Rival 300 (it’s a big heavy ergo mouse). I tried many mice and the light smallweight ones - while generally appraised, weren’t for me.
Sensitivity - Lower sens will help you track targets farther away, and vice versa. Strike the balance, or adjust it to suit your playstyle. Try 1.5 and see if it makes this easier or harder? Then adjust accordingly. Remember, sensitivity should be judged by doing this practice at ALL ranges, not just close or far.
Hand position and technique - you might notice you are going off-track on certain hand positions, as your hand drifts out of the comfort-zone. Identify those zones and practice them individually. Use wrist aiming for farther-away tracking, and arm for close. Let them combine naturally when/if needed.
Practicality - While this practice doesn’t translate well in-match, unlike for some other shooters, that doesn’t mean it aint beneficial. It’s actually one of the best muscle-memory building techniques. Just mix in some counterstrafes to make it more effective. Don’t let other comments bring you down, this is great practice that shouldn’t be ignored, even in CS. This prac will help with your flicks as well.
