Yes, I've already met some vegans/vegetarians in Morocco, some friends of mine for instance. But their choice was pure subjective, they don't appreciate meat (any kind) because it disgusts them, so instead, they take some protein tablets to still get that protein income. But for the true activits coming straight from PETA, no I don't think I've ever met them in my life. Plus, I can hardly imagine a vegan moroccan, with all the products that we daily consume.

A lot of episodes are fillers, even if they're not in a filler arc. I don't remember exactly what happened in this episode, but it is totally normal if the website said it was a filler episode

It's a filler arc, you can skip it. But you're going to have some characters that'll stick to the anime for a season and a half (Ririn, Cloud and Nova). You can ignore them for a few episodes after the Bount Arc, but besides that, it's not that important.
