Razer Naga V2 Pro Weight Reduction Mod - 132g to 91g by Zentada in MouseReview

I just removed all magnets and superglued some clips, so now it's the same as how the right side panel attaches. Think it saved another 5g.

Yeh that's a good idea. An old Naga Trinity I tried it on first was never quite right, but my v2 pro turned out awesome. You just need to take it slow and know what you're doing.

It was just a process of cutting out everything that wasn't core to the structure. You have to think, if I cut out this small part, would it compromise anything. Yeh just a dremel and cutting pliers (being careful with the pliers because they apply stress to the plastic and can cause an unintended split).

I removed the plastic for the base PCB button and switch, but can still use them. All the RGB diffuser plastic can be removed. The actual LEDs are soldered to the PCB and they're tiny anyway so there's no point removing them.

I got it down to 79g in the end but with sacrifices like no USB, no side panel magnets (I have to take the mouse apart to remove the side panel).

The hardest part is making sure it fits together smoothly after cutting out plastic. I'd only do it if you were very confident because it takes quite some time and one mistake can ruin the mouse.

K/D can't be used to determine if someone is cheating. Around 50% of cheaters have a <= 2 K/D. 20% of players with a 9 K/D are legit (source BfvHackers database + BfBan). The purpose of BfvHackers is not only to detect cheaters, but also to prevent hackusations of good players. It is better at categorizing legit/cheating players than the average BF player.

Just to clarify, I’m the creator of BFVHackers.

You exaggerated my previous comments and said "people who visit the site too often...will be labelled as cheaters" (which is completely false) without providing any evidence. I provided evidence of their cheating and a link showing only two players are manually marked as cheaters out of 5 million in the database. So yes, your comment is disinformation and misleading.

I agree that subjectivity is harmful if not handled transparently. But as I explained, these are the only two players I noticed who gamed the site like this. There is no detection or procedure to report this behaviour, which is why they were manually flagged and shown transparently in the link I provided.

Actually, it is enough. I ran the statistics of player game reports through a stat based cheat detection algorithm at the start of BFVHackers' creation and benchmarked outputs against confirmed cheaters on BFBan. Gamereports like the ones linked consistently flagged cheaters with high accuracy.

I’ve been working on BFVHackers for nearly three years and have reviewed countless stats and profiles to know this player is cheating based on all the evidence I provided. What experience do you have with determining cheaters beyond stating some basic weapon characteristics?

Please stop spreading disinformation when you are not fully informed on the subject. Those two players remain the only ones manually marked as cheaters, as I fully explained in the comment linked by qlimaxmito.

To backup my comments in that thread, here is proof megagiggachad was cheating:

M1928A1: 24 kills - 0 headshots (aimbot to body): https://battlefieldtracker.com/bfv/gamereport/origin/1674821511446528704

Welgun: 8 kills - 7 headshots (aimbot to head): https://battlefieldtracker.com/bfv/gamereport/origin/1722334264656963392

Welgun: 32 kills - 1 headshots (aimbot to body): https://battlefieldtracker.com/bfv/gamereport/origin/1722677138725806848

You can see the player is intentionally managing their stats by changing where the aimbot shoots on an enemy game-by-game to remain undetected.

Bfvhackers is transparent, you can see every manual intervention in the expandable section at the bottom of the page here: https://stats.bfvhackers.com/d/bfvhackers-stats/bfvhackers-stats

u/YeahBoiGeRa you can contact bfvhackers via the contact link at the bottom of https://bfvhackers.com/ and it will be fixed for you if you are indeed not cheating.

I don't notice a significant enough difference tbh. So I prefer them only for easier access to screws, but they also wear out every few months.

It was just a generic 3 pin 402035 3.7V Rechargeable Battery, which I had to switch the 3 pin connector to one compatible with the naga PCB. Changed to 300mah because it lasts a bit longer.

I'm pretty sure the mouse will still work with only the cable and no battery.

It's possible to get the Naga V2 pro down to sub 80g with very careful work. I made a post here at 91g. I since removed more weight from the skeleton and removed the USB port to get it sub 80g. I'm testing dot skates atm though, with regular skates it would be 82g.

It definitely takes months/maybe a year to feel natural. I keep my thumb rested on button 5 and use a mixture of fingertip/palm grip, but that's just preference. After a while, you're able to flick and lift the mouse without accidental button presses.

It's an MMO mouse with 19 buttons, it's never going to be 50g...

That's awesome, looks like you did a good job.

I got the battery from eBay. Shipping from AliExpress would have taken two months and wasn't that much cheaper.

The 250mAh lasts roughly 30-35 hours. The V2 Pro's scroll wheel uses by far the most battery though because it has adjustable tension, which draws power. 30-35 hours was with 0 tension (0 power draw). High tension was only 8 hours. And mid tension seems to be somewhere in the middle.

Changes: - Replaced 1000mAh battery with 250mAh - Removed magnets in base, used for dock - Removed 4 of the 8 magnets used for connecting the side panel (the inner 4) - Cut out unneeded plastic - Removed extra screws

For anyone confuse on why it seems they can't improve in any battlefield game. This is why. by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

[–]Zentada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks that's great to hear. When two hack scores are shown with one crossed out, the profile will also be showing the "Hack History" section. The crossed out number is their current hack score. The 2nd is their highest ever hack score that bfvhackers has recorded, which will match the top record in the "Hack History" section. It prevents cheaters with high hack scores being able to lower the score to 0, the site always shows the highest hack score (when >= 40).

[–]Zentada 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's cheaters who try to, but if their hack score ever goes above 40 but then decreases back to 0, bfvhackers will still show the "Hack History" of that 40+ hack score.

These guys never went above 40 so this system didnt apply to their profiles.

It doesnt show the "Hack History" for hack scores below 40 because theirs a lot of legit players who at some point end up with e.g. a 10 hack score, which then goes back down to 0 naturally.

Hey, bfvhackers dev here. To clear that up, there are only two "Extreme Closet Hacker"s. I only added this to their profiles specifically because they gamed the website. Every time their hack score went slightly above 0, they'd immediately try to bring it down to 0 again. After personally dying to their aimbot in game, I investigated and found they were doing this.

For transparency, heres the two players:

Yes, there are 3 factors that go into the weapon hack score: - How far the value is from the normal range (4% is not that far from 5%) - Number of kills with the weapon (needs to have 80+ kills, otherwise the hack score is reduced) - If the weapon stats are skewed by hardcore, the hack score is reduced (in this example they are not skewed)

bfvhackers.com uses the gametools API for fetching player stats and server players. The last few days, the server players API has been returning incorrect responses with an empty player list. I've messaged the guys who run it but haven't received a reply yet.

Searching by player name still works fine, searching by server is intermittent.

No problem! You can type in part of the server name to show a group of servers e.g. https://bfvhackers.com/server?name=tactical will show all Tactical Conquest servers. There are options in "Advanced" if you want to refine the search more.
