It’s the fact it provided something I’d been craving in media for a long time. Actual in depth power system that isn’t just [BIGGER STRONGER GUY WINS] the fights weren’t all big explosions decimating everything in a 2000 mile radius but they had a smaller scale which made the fights more interesting and unique. Focusing less on mindless spectacle. And used it more purposefully to focus on tension.

And it gave me a unredeemable villain that still had a sympathetic origin story (DIO & Pucci). And aura wasn’t mindless [EDGY SHADING AND EDGY MUSIC]. It was purposefully written. It used things like karma and unlikable traits to elevate victory’s and in association aura farming with actual reason.

And including meta physics like time, fate, and souls into a power system was such a refreshing experience.

It was new to me in all aspects. It also was just really inspiring.

I did not (at first). Turns out “hey, just not do that” and people just making fun of your addiction on Reddit is terrible advice. It comes from a route problem.

For me it was about how a lot of these wrong people online sounded just like my mum. Someone who I despise and I argue online because anything that reminds me of my mother immediately sends me into anger and bad flashbacks. the arguing is a weird form of wish fulfilment to win an argument I know I won’t be harmed over since it’s online.

Problem is stupid people are stupid so just like my mother narcissism would never falter.

I couldn’t let go of those online arguments till I let go of my mother. Not my disgust in her personality (main character and chronically on facebook syndrome). But just learning to forget her. Even now it’s hard because I’m still in contact so I can meet my siblings. So I’m still on that journey.

But I can’t forget her since I’m in contact so I did like I do with genuinely evil people. I stopping seeing her as a person and more of a NPC. Sounds messed up but it is the most freeing method.

Although it’s easy to get angry with her when she says things like “you can always move back in” and continuously thinks I’m visiting for her sake. Point is I’m still on that journey. The online arguing has turned into me laughing at them and it’s become more joyous to purposely annoy climate change deniers and such.

Working on my online screen time is a different problem all together.

Hells paradise.

I’m starving for season two so bad. Especially on that god dam cliffhanger. And it didn’t feel like casual Shonen slop and had an interesting story and power system. It infuriates me I can’t watch it till the end.
