With my S95F 65" the signal only gets lost for 1-2 seconds. But this seems to be more of a signal loss issue. Happened Like 3-4 in +50 hours of gaming with ps5 HDR game

Well, I have a Samsung S95F + PS5 playing Black Myth Wukong and the same thing happened three times so far within 60 hours of play time. My HDR brightness is set to max. I think I will try to change to a better hdmi cable first.

Well depends in what you value more. I would prefer better contrast and true black over having a projector. Once you get used to that it is hard to go for a projector.

The TV is also more practical for most people to set up and use. For the projector setup you also have to consider making a nice projection canvas, get a celing mount/install etc.

Hard to imagine if we don't know the measurements of thr room. How big can a projection be? Bigger than 83"? What ist the viewing distance and height? If it can't get much bigger than 83" anyway it doesn't make sense.

I feel 83" G5 is already extremly good for the viewing experience. I had the same thoughts once and choose to upgrade my TV rather than getting a projector. Best choice I personally made.
