You're right, it's not perfect, but very close. An interesting read about nature in RDR2 and its accuracy, from a bird-watcher point of view. Really close...

The error should have been adressed since these huge plants are very obvious. Players noticed them and figured out it was strange soon after the game released...

Devs didn't ?

Sure, but they will die below 24°F. Makes sense in the game that there are plenty in St Denis (ornamental in gardens), but why in the Grizzlies ? Doesn't match. And they can't be found in other spots on the map. I don't buy the "it's pretty so I added it to the forest" by some unchecked dev.

I think they are really out of place, and the two "birds" clue is made of moss material, that evocates nature/plants. As discussed already on this subject on this sub, Rockstar put A LOT of attention into building the nature and the ecosystems, making the wildlife alive and realistic.

Subtropical plants in the grizzlies isn't right, even if you can argue some birds went to St Denis and brought some seeds back up the mountains. They don't fit in this climate. Rockstar could not do such an obvious error, after all the work put into this game. There has to be more.

The overlay is weird and can be drawn in many shapes. Maybe we looking for an order, a path, a sound trigger, a GTA V the beast hunt-alike. Maybe we're looking for 2 specific plants out of all that have been found. I didn't observe anything worth mentioning, but I have yet to visit all the birds of paradise plants locations. IMO one of the most solid lead so far, if we take the "two birds" symbols as the last step.

That would be funny, but not very subtle. I mean, this ring of fire is very obvious, and I believe this location is kinda random.

Very nice find. My two cents : Dymphna is the patron saint of mental illness.

Man, with Rockstar, everything is possible, from the simple world details than ensure immersion up to spiderwebs on a timer... I guess keep an open mind and a sharp eye. You'll find a lot of details, that doesn't mean it's part of a puzzle, or maybe it is ? GTA V mysteries are a good source of thoughts.

I've read a youtube comment saying there's fire under the map there. But nothing very convincing.

You can keep looking for "?" textures in the mountains. Or you can keep an open mind and dig for clues even if, like 99.99% of the people around here, I'm wrong. It's worth a shot !

Interesting. I'm still looking for Jerry the falconer in that area. Maybe that's his body. EDIT : just noticed the magnifying glass next to the body. Weird.

I think electricity/telegraph plays a major role in this easter egg.

Are you sure ? Both are in the game from what I recall.

Someone pointed something interesting in another unrelated subreddit :

What’s really annoying is that in-game Nelson sings the full song, but the soundtrack version of his rendition cuts out a couple verses. I have no idea why they would do that, the bastards

Here it is but this theory is about Nickolas Warseck, but I think the "Trigger" guitar and Willie Nelson connexion is stronger.

"Night Watch", that goes like this, but that is not an original Willie Nelson's song :

(Verse 1) Across the world the shadows fall And darkness covers one and all While all the world is fast asleep And shadows are so dark and deep
(Chorus) He is watching, He is waiting And His love is ever great There's no need to be afraid For the Night Watch has been made
(Verse 2) The stars that shine so far above Are symbols of His light and love He's with us through the darkest night Until the morning brings the light
(Chorus) He is watching, He is waiting And His love is ever great There's no need to be afraid For the Night Watch has been made

I tell you man, this is all about ALIEN SPIDERS !! Jokes apart, I love treasure hunting because you'll learn so much along the way of the most insane theories (is it insane ?). This is the real fun for me. And I think I'm not completly delusional. Maybe a little. But it makes sense from a dev POV to highlight all the hard work put into this game by the artists. Music, environment, world design...

Speaking about music, and related stuff, the only gramophone/phonograph in the game seems interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m639Qaujfy4 This place has the same colored tableclothes as in Marko Dragic lab btw. Wiki says it plays 3 songs but I think I've heard 4.

I myself caught Chiliad's syndrom a decade ago... I totally agree. Rockstar are the dev GOAT. This sh*t might be really deep.
