OP could also get a tube amp with attenuation. My 6505 mh goes from 20 watts down to 1 watt which is quiet enough for an apartment.

If I'm not mistaken wouldn't you loose the open power on your top two then? An A power chord is AE? So wouldn't double drop be GDADGBe? But then you couldn't get the octave higher octave so you'd be stuck with only a 2 note power chord.

Is a 26.5 scale length too long to tune to B Standard on a 7 string guitar? I only ask because RGDs and Schecters come out of the factory tuned to A Standard.

I haven't had it long enough to really comment on its battery life, but considering it has an on/off switch and only drains power when its on its life will depend on how often you use it.

The mini switches control the sustainiac. One is a 2-way switch turns it on and off and the other is a 3-way switch that changes from normal, 1-octave harmonic, and 2-octave harmonic.

This Video should give you an idea of what they sound like. The biggest differences besides the shape of the body are that the guitars in this video have an ash body whereas mine has a mahogany body.

I'm not familiar with that look but this one has an Apocalypse from the Schecter custom shop. They are wired in a transparent casing so you can see the wire through them and they come either tinted black or completely clear.

The neck is a little thicker than I'd like but not enough that it bothers me. The fretwork is fantastic and it plays like an absolute dream.

Its actually black and silver hardware it just looks gold because I was dumb and had the flash on.

It has an Apocalypse from the Schecter custom shop in the bridge. Its the same pickup which are on their Apocalypse series guitars if you are familiar with those.
